But what happens when that person is a so called "pirate" in a straw hat? Who makes Mackerel see that maybe there's more to life than violence... Maybe somewhere out there, in the world, there's freedom and adventure?... Then Mackerel is dragged into a world where the Marines have a target on him and his new crews backs and he's forced to coexist with a passive aggressive swordsman who hates his guts... but thats fine because Mackerel feels exactly the same.
