Grian is cursed, or at least, that's what it seems. Trapped against his will to play a cruel game and sacrificing himself for his friends, Grian knows little of happiness. Now forced to throw away his very humanity itself, he must learn to become one of the very beings that toyed with both him and his friends. Will the games ever end, or is he fated to a life of pain and anguish until the bitter end? Note: this contains a lot of angst. There are also a few scenes with blood, but nothing too graphic. (I'm pretty squeamish when it comes to blood myself). Grian's life was shattered into a million pieces a long time ago. So long ago, he didn't know whether it was ever even whole. When he joined Hermitcraft after running away from the Watchers, it was starting to come together, until season eight began and his life was thrown into chaos. The Watchers were there, and he didn't even know if they were good or bad anymore. He didn't know who to be scared of. And he was forced to question everything in silence, finding refuge only in his magic. And unfortunately for him, things don't always go the way he might have expected - not that he really had any expectations, anyway. There is some mild swearing. (The cover is literally just a picture of a galaxy about 140 million light years away taken by NASA) Total word count: approx. 40,000

Xisuma never thought that a single mistake in redstone would cause him to be thrown back in time to another server. Yet finding a familiar face on the said server wasn't something he expected to find on the server either. What is up with the theme of Evolutions and Secrets that they kept up with? Wait, Why was Xisuma sent back in time in the first place? * Important note: The story has been rewritten as a separate story known as "Gates of Evolution", this will still be up for those to read still and/or for people to compare the difference between the original and the re-write.

And so, he ran again, using his Watcher powers he always feared so much to his advantage. Grian landed in Hermitcraft, where he was finally free to be himself.. kind of. Some hermits never trusted him much, others welcomed his company. However, they were absolutely terrified of Watchers. They *hated* watchers. When Season 7 rolled around, Grian feels something isn't right. He doesn't know whether he should drop his "always happy!" act, or whether he should call for help. This story is mostly about Xisuma, Grian, Mumbo, Iskall, EX and the watchers This is my first book, so don't expect anything great. I'm also not a fast writer, so.... yeah..

He thought it'd be easy, just go into a server and keep a eye out for glitches... Spoiler alert: It was not. He didn't factor in lying to the whole server, hiding his magic, old friends, and his own trauma. Oh, and the whole war going on. That too.

Grian was placed into a world, not EXACTLY sure what had happened before then, although he where he was. There was others too. Along with some mysterious entities, called themselves the watchers. They liked him, maybe a little too much. Eventually he found himself, he wasn't sure weather a human or something else. What is Grian exactly? Is he a watcher? A Hermit? Real? Who knows besides Grian himself, maybe he doesn't even know at this point. What does everybody remember? Do they remember him? This fanfic will be based off of the events in Evo SMP and HermitCraft. It will possibly contain events from Double Life, 3rd Life, and Last life.
