Many years ago, two races ruled over Earth, Humans and Monsters. One day, war broke out between the 2 races. After a long battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters deep beneath Mt. Ebott with a magical spell. Many years later, a 12-year-old boy named Frisk entered the mountain to save the monsters.

NOTE - I am not the creator of AxeTale nor do I own it's rights, this is my own retelling of the story of AxeTale. But in this AU both Frisk and Sans are of age, and it's a plot point that they're married... Although I'm not a big fan of this but given the fact it's an AU, that's alright, even if I don't ship it personally, it's a big part of this AU and I have to try to keep it as close to the source material as possible... Just know even if I don't ship it personally, I'm still trying to be at least mostly accurate, small changes aside... AxeTale... The monsters had broken the barrier, and the humans were just beginning to get used to the new creatures roaming alongside them. You stared at the hole leading to the underground, you closed your eyes and fell forward, but what happened next left you wondering, bewildered beyond compare.
