What happens when a future huntsman (You) is accepted into Beacon for the soul purpose of doing good while he still can? And how would he be able to hide the fact that the clock's ticking for him, from his teammates?

In 2006, a discovery was made when an island in the South Pacific that has defied discovery until now: Monster Island. The Land where God did not finish creation. Soon, a small group from an organization and a military team heads out to the island. But were unaware of what they'll encounter. As they discover something of monstrous proportions.

Things have been rough for the young Kraken, Ruby Gillman. She's been pulling double duty as guardian kraken protector of land and sea while trying to keep up her good grades. Now a new incredibly dangerous creature from a distant land above the clouds has come and has taken Ruby's family hostage and threatens to destroy her home of Oceanside. The only way she can save them all is if she gives the fiery stranger one thing it demands from her; a fight to the death.

Clyde has just barely recovered from the loss of his friends when he is moved to Beacon, the prestigious school that trains huntsman/tresses. But why did his friends die? What killed them? And why does he always have nightmares about their deaths? Why on Remnant is he still alive instead of Paige? And why does he feel like something is following him, staying near him, waiting for the perfect moment to strike?

Sweet and awkward 16-year-old Ruby Gillman is desperate to fit in at school, but she mostly just feels invisible. She's prevented from hanging out with the cool kids at the beach because her over-protective mom forbids her from getting in the water. When she breaks her mom's rule, Ruby discovers that she is a descendant of the warrior Kraken queens and is destined to inherit the throne from her grandmother. The Kraken are sworn to protect the world's oceans against vain, power-hungry mermaids.

Three years after the events of KOTM, Simon has suddenly gone on a rampage, no one knows what's happening, Monarch goes to Monster Island to find the two Titans that may stand a chance: Earl and Ruby Gillman. Kira and her friends are looking to find what is provoking Simon as evil unknown forces are causing the trio to clash.
