This is a follow up to the fanfic "Jurdan - The Pain of Love" by jurdanfanfr. I do not know this person and do not know where they intended to take this story, but I wanted to make a follow up to it and finish it with how I picture the story was resolved in my mind. I highly recommend reading that fanfic for more context and also because it is very well written. I am not the best writer and this is my first fanfic, so please feel free to give feedback if you want. No explicit smut, I don't feel comfortable writing it. This is an alternative storyline to The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black This picks up right when Cardan takes Jude to his chambers after the she takes Taryn's place at the trial. Discovered by the High King, Jude must strike a deal with Cardan in exchange for her life. It is a different version of the story with more Jurdan time (and more spice), and a new sequence of events.
