Sam was gone, for good, Mumbo had killed him and he hadn't respawned. He was dead. Grian trusted in the kindness of the world and he opened up, but that was his biggest mistake. Because what if Sam wasn't dead? What if they had been tricked by a simple hack? What if Scar and Mumbo went missing? What if they were taken? Grian would have to find out the consequences of those 'what if's the hard way. A sequel to "Sam's Back", I suggest reading that first if you haven't already since otherwise this won't make sense. Grian and Scar were minding their business until Etho and Joel invite them to go exploring with them. They find an End portal nowhere near the stronghold and find that the eyes of Ender are cracked. As they replace the eyes, the portal opened up but it didn't take them to the End like they thought it would. It ended up taking them, to a different place. A place where you play card games on motorcycles. They are still connected to their soulmates though.
