MCSM had finally released episode five, and a brand new fan had just bought the game. She was amazed by the great reviews, and excited when the opening screen came up..... Little did she know that she bought a buggy disk used to pull the player into the game, that was never meant to be released. Luckily for her she has her little brother to keep her sane as she tries to figure out why she is in the game, and how she can get out. But once she enters the game, she's changed it, making it different in many ways. As in no Jesse. This one girl has the entire game world on her shoulders, without even knowing what to do, or what's to come. Luckily for her she meets a group of friends that will help her along, and maybe even become her new family. But the real question is, by the end, will this player, now part of the game, want to leave once she's gotten to know the world, and specific people in it? Hadrian and Cassie Rose barely manage to escape after beating Mevia. She is now left injured and unable to fend for herself. The twins discover Mevia severely injured and rush her back to Beacontown. While helping Mevia recover, Mevia tells the twins about Hadrian and Cassie's plan of ambushing the two and the rest of the gang. During her healing, Mevia begins to become suicidal and believes that she is the reason that Hadrian and Cassie became insane. The twins and rest of the gang now have to help Mevia recover physically and mentally from all of her past abuse. As thanks to the twins and the gang for their kindness to her, Mevia makes them an offer. She offers to help them fight as soon as she is fully healed. Will the twins and the rest of the gang be able to trust Mevia? Or will they turn their backs on her? Will they be able to defeat Hadrian and Cassie Rose?

After the battles were won, the Second Order of the Stone find a strange boy named Jesse who was apparently born from the Witherstorm. Can they trust him? And when slowly one by one the Second Order are dying, and only Jess is left, will she be able to face the evil that's doing this? She and Jesse will have to cheat death and break the boundaries of space and time to save their friends. Will the Daughter of Life and the Son of Death triumph?

And in this story, the title as Hero in Residence won't be all that Jesse loses. Can she and her two remaining friends find peace, after everything they've been through?
