What if certain groups of players decided to band together instead of fight amongst themselves? What if one player, surrounded by friends, family, enemies, and traitors, conquered all 100 floors of Castle Aincrad and discovered hidden secrets buried deep within? Taking inspiration from the manga, anime and video game series, follow Kazzu as he fights his way through the digital hell known as Sword Art Online in an attempt to repair the fractures of the game and most importantly: make it out alive.

As the war between freedom and imprisonment in Sword Art Online comes to its final months, one of the heroes seeks to avenge his fallen friend and fulfill his promise to her. In the real world, a year later, he seeks to find happiness in love. In both worlds, his blacksmith is there by his side.

As the Assault Team prepares for the boss rush of the 99th Floor, Kirito, Jaymes, and their friends spend what may be the final peaceful moment before beating SAO--or die trying. They recall their moments together and precious memories from the moment they all met and look to a probable future in which they can meet again.

Two worlds, both in trouble. In the Underworld, Jaymes and Kirito fly to the planet Admina to recover a lost art and gain information on the connection between Admina's betrayal and the intrusion from the Real World. On Cardina, Kureha joins forces with Eydis in combating an old enemy of the Emperor and Empress. In Unital Ring, Koharu, Lisbeth, and Sinon leads the others in progression of the game and protecting their position. And between the worlds, secrets will challenge them and their bonds.

A few months after The Seed was released into the world, something unexpected happens. A Hacker, immensely powerful in his skills, hacks into all the servers and forces the players onto a single, American server and begins a death game again. This includes Kirito, Asuna, Yuri, and all the other players from Sword Art Online and the players of Alfheim Online.
