We all know of the story of Central City's hero, The Scarlet Speedster, The Flash, The Fastest Man alive. But what if, on that fateful day when Barry Allen got chosen by the lightning bolt, another hero was born? Meet Y\N L\N. A brilliant engineer and ex-firefighter, he works as a head engineer and maintenance worker of S.T.A.R. Labs. Alongside Dr. Harrison Wells, Cisco Ramon, Caitlin Snow, and Ronnie Raymond, the team are ready to reveal the Particle Accelerator to the world. However, when things started going south, the Accelerator starts to malfunction, and Y\N and Ronnie rush to see what's wrong with it. In the midst of the chaos, Y\N spots a civilian by the name of Dr. Martin Stein. When he goes to get him out of the room, the Accelerator exploded, leaving the fates of the three men unknown. After eight months pass, Barry Allen has taken up his role of the Scarlet Speedster. However, when Team Flash are faced with the return of Ronnie Raymond, they can't help but wonder... "What happened to Y\N?"

Team Flash is still recovering from the emotional and physical aftershock of the black hole that tore apart their team and Central City. Little do they know, they have only just begun to experience the full effects of the catastrophe. New people and new feelings will send Team Flash on a roller coaster of coming together and falling apart, all in the hunt for a way to stop their new big bad. How will Barry react when a new has-been speedster threatens his position among the team, his friends, and Caitlin? Will Barry's need to save those he loves drive them away from him when he's faced with a new foe? Will the team's trust issues start to apply to each other when confronted with familiar faces and a more ominous speedster...Zoom?

Team Flash is working on something they haven't seen before. Werid things been happening and Barry is determined to find out what. But has he come too close to this? When the chase and Barry comes close to finding out the truth, something tragic happens and Team Flash to find a new way to find the solution. It becomes a race against time to save one of them. Who will win, the fastest man alive or time?

Caitlin had started working on a way to fix herself and Killer Frost. The only problem was that she had started working on it before they defeated DeVoe. Now that they were free of the Thinker, she was still working on her problem alone, but without the proper help, the serum could kill her. Even though Caitlin's secrets are potentially dangerous and life threatening, she is not the only one hiding something. Barry is also keeping secrets of his own, more minor secrets. Putting on a brave face for the team and his daughter from the future, he hides the fact that he and Iris as fighting more and more often. With a West-Allen divorce on the horizon, he can't seem to hide his newly found budding feelings for one Caitlin Snow.

As they begin to reveal their pasts to one another, they realize just how much they have in common, including their feelings for one another. They set out together to fully uncover the truth of their parent's murder. However, it will take more information than they have. When things already seem to be confusing enough for Barry and Y/N, they get a visitor. Will this visitor give them the answers they need? Or will they only make things harder? This story takes place before the tv show actually begins. Everyone I've seen who writes flash fanfiction tends to start the book during the actual show, but I've always thought some of those need more backstory than they are given. So I decided the first book in my fanfiction series should fully explain Y/N and Barry's history with one another. I care a lot about grammar and my writing. Barry and the team are in for a treat when a new speedster arrives in town. But not just any speedster, it's Barry's younger daughter. He also has Nora visiting from the future. She couldn't go back to Central City, she couldn't tell Barry and take him away from his family. She decided she would raise this child alone and give her the best life she could. Only Cisco and her mother knew and they helped her from time to time and became a good family for little Dawn Snow. But when Team Flash needs Caitlin's help and Barry's life is in danger she has no other choice to go back in Central City after so many years. Will she tell Barry? Will he ever finds out?
