It's been 7 years since Dipper and Mabel Pines' first summer in Gravity Falls. They both agreed to move there after high school. While they stay in their favorite little town, they attend college in Portland where they are reunited with their summertime friends including Wendy, Candy, Grenda, and Pacifica. Dipper's old friendship with Pacifica sparks up a new relationship...but one with more....romance. They have now been dating for many months and Dipper earned enough money for a very special night. It seems that their lives are getting better, but once-defeated foes are resurfacing as well as new ones. Will the Pines and Gravity Falls be able to stop them? Or will the world finally face the nightmares kept at bay in that town?

A sequel to the rich girl and monster hunter Set several months after the first book. Preston is in jail. Pacifica now lives happily with her mother. Dipper and Pacifica are now finishing up school with exams and stuff while also juggling their jobs as protectors. Pacifica is starting her training with dipper and learning about the mysterious events of gravity falls. Soon school comes to an end. So now dipper and Pacifica are now able to focus more on their job. But a dark threat looms over gravity falls. And it wants out of this small, little town. And it wants out now.

Dipper and Mabel pines have gotten out of their first year of high school, and are now almost 14 years old. For their birthday summer, they return to Gravity falls; But things aren't quite right with the Northwests, and trouble is brewing. After a tragedy leaves Pacifica on her own in the wild, she'll need Dipper's help to survive. As the journey goes on, the two form an unexpected relationship that pushes boundaries and changes them both. And, as a dark force begins to rise to power once more, their trust for each other might be the only thing that can save all of Gravity Falls.
