Entomon Book 1

Warning: Mild swearing, violence, underage smoking, mention of drug use, immigration conflict, mention of overdose, depicts of su!cide

This book takes time to represent various people. It mentions gay rights, trans rights, women's rights, mental health rights, religious rights, and many more. This book includes lots pf diversity because every person should deserve to see themselves represented in the books they read.

This book is inspired by the various political debates I've seen from the 2024 election. This is futuristic America, where white straight Christian (or Catholic) men are prized above everyone else. I wrote this because I think other voices deserve to be heard and people should see what their arguments do to those it's directed to. Why do white men get to control women's bodies? Why don't gay people deserve the same kind of treatment as straight people? This book shows that diverse people are just as important.

Please do not take this book too seriously. This book is not to be targeted to America, this book is not targeted to those who may be white, straight, or Christian. This book is simply here to represent those who don't fit those liked standards. This book is not to dump on the republican party, this book does not mainly focus on politics but rather people's reasons for their political debates.

Treat every living person with kindness, each person deserves to be represented and loved.

Eric was the younger of twelve year old twins, just approaching their thirteenth birthday. Although only six minutes younger than Lauren, she was clearly the alpha character when it came to sibling rivalry; she had an effervescent outgoing personality and exuded confidence in everything that she did. Eric, on the other hand, was introverted and largely lived his life in under the shadow of his sister. That was until Eric was diagnosed with a life threatening condition. Admitted to hospital for emergency life-changing surgery. Waking up a different person there was a new-found confidence and optimism that results in a metamorphosis into a life that is far from the shadows. Born out of Covid-19 lockdown, this was conceived as a light-hearted short story to counteract the doom and gloom that was resulting from the pandemic. It grew longer than expected, as I got to know Erin. The story might still be a bit rough round the edges, but I wanted to release it in time for summer vacation reading. There is no violence or hatred, just kindness and acceptance. For those that discount this as unrealistic of the real world, I counter two arguments: 1) It is a complete work of fiction. 2) My son went to Lycee (Senior secondary school) in rural France, where attitudes are generally very conservative. Despite this, there was a girl his his year, who believed she should have been a boy. HE was accepted for who he was, without prejudice. Hopefully it offers a little light reading with a happy ending. Not that the story is set in Scotland and the spelling reflects British convention, perhaps with some Scottish dialect thrown in.

"Hey, who are you?" I could tell he wasn't trying to scare him off while still trying to establish the fact that we could hurt him if we wanted to. "I was gonna ask you the same question," he replied. "But since to beat me to it, I'm Eli. I'm just a seventeen-year-old kid out here alone. Y'all seem to be in the same situation." His southern accent was thick but definitely not South Carolinian. It sounded more like he was from Alabama or Mississippi. "True. For how long?" "Four weeks. I ran away because of...circumstances," he said, trailing off on the last word. "Prove to us you're not dangerous," Marcus threatened. "Prove to me you're not dangerous," Eli countered. "I don't even know your names." "Fine. I'm Marcus, that's Peyton, Luke, and Aaliyah," he answered, gesturing toward each of us as he spoke. I could tell he didn't trust the guy, but he seemed good enough. He hadn't said anything to make us distrust him, but he also hadn't said anything to make us trust him. "Look, dude, I'm not trying to hurt you. I'm looking for something a friend told me about a few weeks ago. She said there was a whole network of teens out here, but there's a camp somewhere in Florida that gives them a place to stay. Secret, of course, and run by teens, but anyway, it seems safer than being out here and living off the land." "Wait, you mean there are more of us?" I asked. 鈽 Three teenagers find themselves rejected by their families after they're all unexpectedly outed on the same night. With the help of their friend, they head to the streets in search of freedom and acceptance. Along the way they meet another boy, and there's more to him then they could have ever guessed. Follow each of them as they discover who they are, who they love, and more of their country's secrets than they could ever dream of in a thrilling trilogy told from all five points of view.

How bad could it be to enlist your female best friend into helping you lie to your Christian family about your new relationship with your male best friend and about your newfound sexuality? Not that bad, right? Right??? --------- Nova Queen and Arizona "Ari" Matthews weren't always close in high school, but after an intense and serious conversation in the library one day, the two become the best of friends until they go their separate ways their freshman year of college. Now in their mid 20s and freshly out of grad school, they are reunited in the park of their hometown where Ari asks a huge favor of Nova that she later wishes she had refused. But in the end, will she really wish she had refused? *FA spans a timeline from 2010-2020 to help the reader see how the relationships were built between characters in a partial series of flashbacks. It also helps the reader to really see into the minds of Arizona and Nova as they age, and the effect different life events have on them. It's a bit of a slower build and the plot is mostly seen a little later in the book, but I promise it's worth it. 馃檪 *I do not own any of the rights to the music nor the pictures. *Rated M for language, sexual content, destructive behaviors, suicide, and dialogue that may be triggering for some readers. *These characters may do or say things that you don't agree or may get upset with, please remember YOU ARE NOT THESE PEOPLE, and their lives are a work of fiction and my imagination. If they are made in our image, surely they will suffer the same trials? In 2078, sentient androids help rebuild a damaged world. Eli, a unique android, struggles to find his place in a world that both fears and covets him as he becomes entangled in a dangerous game of politics and rebellion. Ten years prior, Dr. Randeep Singh races against time to prevent an impending disaster while balancing the demands of a ruthless dictator. As the two timelines collide, Eli and Dr. Randeep Singh are forced to confront their vulnerabilities and limitations in the face of overwhelming challenges. Early Reviews: "Your characterisation of your main cast was expertly done, but the Board wanted to highlight Eli, whose near childlike wonder at his own existence and other life rather paradoxically creates a sense of hope and beauty in the face of such instability." "I was very pleased with the intriguing plot, which was well-conceived and developed, alongside a most fascinating cast of characters. I believe your story is very well-structured and well-grounded allowing the story to build progressively and weave together the underlying messages included in your work, including concepts of control and existence, as well as uncontrolled scientific exploration that are sure to resonate with many contemporary readers" This is not 'man vs machine' - 'Therefore I Am' delves into ethics of class systems as sentient androids are introduced into a brutal world scorched by a world war and ran by a sadistic regime. Narrated over two timelines, this novel is a real page-turner and a hot take on robotic AI. Although this story discusses AI themes; no AI was used in the creation or in the writing process. I wanted this book available to read for free but if you wish to support me you can buy this book in paperback on Amazon in most territories. Search: Mickey Luke Mitchell - Therefore I Am at a very reasonable price.

A dystopian young adult novel involving romance, secret experiments on human subjects, and a group of teenagers' will to survive. Reader Comments: "I'm gonna gush about your book real quick...all the technology has a purpose and is beautifully explained so I can picture it in my mind...the whole concept of the book is completely original...*moment of silence for your beautiful arch of character development* everything your characters do is strictly them but they develop enough to show more about themselves without you straight up telling the reader about them" -Vairl9023 "Ahh!!! This is so good!! I will be anxiously awaiting the next Chapter!!" -CrystalBagot "Brilliant...ohh, this is very catchy, good work" -IndeeMaynard "I love this so far" -BrianneMorris "You've done a great job at creating a mysterious mood" -poisonedpen *** All Evita Creedy, 17, wants is to finish her degree and be accepted for a prestigious job with the city's Department of Energy.
