A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

It is a time of fragile peace. Long after the fall of the Galactic Alliance and the death of Darth Krayt, the galaxy has splintered once more into the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Years of brutal conflict have left both sides battered, forcing an uneasy ceasefire.

Seeking to exploit the calm, the Sith have sent out teams of salvagers to scour ancient Sith strongholds and the uncharted edges of the galaxy for lost treasures and forbidden secrets.

Among these teams is the crew of The Star Seeker, a deep-space salvage vessel. Their mission takes them to the outermost fringes, where they stumble upon a derelict prison ship, The Dread Revenant.

Within its decaying halls lies unimaginable wealth-and unspeakable horrors. For The Dread Revenant once held the galaxy's most dangerous criminals and ancient threats long thought buried.

The crew gets a new mission to get important information on a jungle planet that is unknown to them. The task may seem easy but little do they know that they are walking into a living nightmare. The crew crash lands on the planet then go to a village named Malum. Things keep getting weird the longer they stay. Ezra gets curious about an urban legend that lives out in the jungle and gets himself lost. If you know Ezra, then you know that trouble is heading his way. What dark secrets are being held on the planet? Will the youngest crew member find his way or be lost forever? Is the urban legend true? Will the crew make it out alive?

BLIP: The dry air made it difficult to take in a breath and I had a dire need to grip and dig my nails into my thighs as the aura of Ernesh brought chills up my arms; I could not see him, but it was evident he wasn't far from reach. "The longer you stand there in silence, little lyōbo, the more you irk me," his gruff voice called out behind the forcefield as it trickled down to his feet, the pixelated particles vanishing before my eyes like icicles. Once the veil was removed, a tall young man with dark eyes and silver hair, almost too pretty to be seen as evil, stared at me with a cold glare of hatred and curiosity; he was not at all what I had expected. Ezra thought his grades would get him posted to a place in the Navy that reflected his ability, something like First Fleet, the Raiding Nine, or even Home Guard. Humanity's enemy the Preshk where attacking more often and Ezra wanted to be contributing directly to the war effort. Instead he got put on a Scout ship with just one other soul and sent on a five month mission out into deep space. The mission quickly becomes more than the young commander could have ever expected and the fate of humanity lies in how fast he can return back to humanity. This short story is just over 18,000 words and contains sexual content between two men, so If that's not your cup of tea.. don't read :) This is my first attempt at something like this, so feedback is welcome, though be nice :)
