It's been forty years since the War of the Sandwing Succession, and Pyrrhia has been at some moderate peace. Gelid is Queen Blizzard's personal bodyguard. Young, loyal, reckless and determined, Gelid will do anything to keep her queen safe. It is the 30th annual Winter-Spring celebrations where rainwings and icewings came together as friends with the same interests in mind. But the celebration is in danger. After the celebrations are attacked, it's up to Gelid to figure it out before her Queen gets hurt and the relations between the icewings and rainwings and the rest of Pyrrhia explode in turmoil. But before she knew it, old friend of Queen Blizzard's past is back to kill her, half the dragon tribes are on the brink of war with the rest of Pyrrhia and... The Talons of Power are back and they will show the world no mercy. I do not own Wings of Fire or the series, this is merely a fanfiction of an idea I've had for a long time. I Just want to give a special mention to Seamud for their character creator book that created Cattail because i seriously suck at Mudwing names. The names in the book are really good. So my first chapter with Cattail i feel i should deticate to Seamud. I created the cover on PicMonkey but the artwork isn't mine. This is my second WoF Fanfiction so lets see how it goes. He attends Jade Mountain Academy meeting Moonwatcher, another mind reader. He meets new friends, his winglet. He soon finds out about dark secrets along with his newly found friends. Death follows, with a great danger lurking above them. Will Nightfighter and his friends survive? Or will they die trying? If you haven't read the books yet, this might be a bit confusing because this takes place first in book six and takes some information from book 7. Most of this book was made before book 9: "Talons of Power" so I might get some stuff wrong. Wings Of Fire and it's characters does not belong to me but to Tui T. Sutherland, all rights are hers.
