This is a Re-written Story of my Sword Art Online: New Reality or SAO:NR (A Fan Game) story I wrote a few years back. EACH CHAPTER WILL BE REALLY LONG AS THE MINIMUM OF 3,000 WORDS TO THE MAX OF 5,000 WORDS. THE STORY IS WRITTEN TO BE LIKE A LIGHT NOVEL. What if... you were in Sword Art Online? How would you react? How would you respond to this? This story follows some of the Main events of Sword Art Online, while branching off into a new perspective. You are in the shoes of Kirin. But as a SAO Beta tester, he uses his knowledge of other games and some beta exploits to climb the floors of the floating castle. Would you like to hear his story in this new reality?

In a game where many players perceive to be the dream world to be in, Sword Art Online has taken the world by storm, giving 10000 players across the globe the chance to experience the very first VRMMORPG in its official launch. None of them knew that SAO would soon turn out to be a prison, designed to force players to fight in a realistic world where dying means death. A total of 10,000 players log into the game, including a boy named Akiri Shiranobu. He and all the other players soon discovered that they are unable to log out and that if they were to suffer in-game death, they would also die in real life. Set in the world of Reki Kawahara's "Sword Art Online", this story will follow a new player to the game: Kazzu Akihiko aka the co creator of Sword Art Online and the son of the games creator: Kayaba Akihiko. This journey will break through the original timeline and explore its own what if story. What if some of the casualties of the original timeline never happened at all? What if certain groups of players decided to band together instead of fight amongst themselves? What if one player, surrounded by friends, family, enemies, and traitors, conquered all 100 floors of Castle Aincrad and discovered hidden secrets buried deep within? Taking inspiration from the manga, anime and video game series, follow Kazzu as he fights his way through the digital hell known as Sword Art Online in an attempt to repair the fractures of the game and most importantly: make it out alive.

Sword Art Online has been beaten, the game is over, and for most, they are moving on. Some are even returning to VR, yearning for the life they lost. Some, not all. You are another survivor of Sword Art Online who never quite got over the horrors. Haunted by the events and the mistakes made along the way, you are quite ready to lock yourself away to be forgotten. This slowly changes when you are introduced to Ordinal Scale alongside a certain master swordsman with an undefeated record. However, no matter how hard you try, you can't escape your past, the horrors, or the voice in the back of your head yearning to break free.

With the advent of a new virtual reality headset that could physically place you inside your games, he excitedly purchased one, unaware that the consequences would be much more than he bargained for. When the game becomes too real, he is forced to adapt, and when he's pushed to the breaking point, he is forced to become the villain of his own story. This is not a story about the good guy. The protagonist takes the role of a tragic villain in this story. He will commit acts that are at best questionable and at worst monstrous.
