A student, a gang leader, and a damaged person are all personalities living inside of Ash Lynx. New York is rough, and he's slowly gotten used to it. But when Eiji Okumura, an innocent exchange student, stumbles into his walk of life, things become messy. Old foes formulate new plans and conspire against the world, and Ash struggles to choose between the life he has, and the life he wants. This is based off of canon Banana Fish, so some events occur as they do in the anime. However, as most things diverge from the original, a butterfly effect takes place. This story ends up completely different than where everything started. DISCLAIMER: All rights for the story belong to the Banana Fish creator! We all know how sad the ending of banana fish is. But, there are some clues that indicate ash is still alive. And so, I'm writing the story of how he wakes up in the library, fakes his own death, and goes to Japan. Through a journey to find eiji and confess his love, they will get the happy ever after we all wished for them to have.THIS PLAY AFTER THE ANIME. . IT CONTAINS SPOILERS. If you haven't watched the anime you can still read it but it does spoil the ending of it slightly.

Everything is now over and everything will be back to normal. That should go for all who suffered the long time of war and pain, wins and losses, gains and loses. But Eiji is an exception. It's now time to return to his homeland, Japan. He feels a void in his heart as he boards the plane and he knows very well what can fill that void. It's that person he shared all his pains with. The only person he can't bear to lose, the only person he desires to see before he leaves. But he can't turn back now. He's made up his mind and he knows what he's doing is for the best. "Eiji." A voice rings in his ears. He knows that voice. He knows who called him and he listens to it. "I'm sorry Ibe-san but I'm going down." He doesn't want to leave and regret this for the rest of his life. He needs to see Ash right now. He needs to be with him. So he makes a decision and takes the risk. But, did he make the right choice? Or did he make a choice that will make him want to reset time and wish he never went off the plane?

Eiji is torn apart by the news of Ash's death. He locks himself away and begins to slowly fade away. When he finds out Ash is still alive he couldn't be happier. But now, after so long, after almost letting it all go every morning and night, how was he supposed to pick himself back up and just forget? He's been just as gone as Ash was. Now Ash is there, helping pull him together again, with lots and lots of love. Lots of sad Eiji Only a little S.H and S.A, sorry for no trigger warnings 😞
