After all, his dad was in prison for being the super villain Hawkmoth and his other caretaker Nathalie died from over use of a broken Miraculous. So, now Marinette is the guardian of the miraculous. Will her bullies lies get exposed? Will she find love in the most dangerous city in the world? Will she find out the identities of Gotham's heroes? Yes, probably, but its all about the ride and not the destination. This is mostly a salt and fluff fic.

Marinette has a dark past she's not willing to share with anyone. One so dark that she has to move away from the hubble and bubble of Paris to the dark streets of Gotham. She roams around until she is met by a walking, talking traffic light and taken in by a dark haired rich man. Everything goes well until a secret is discovered that soon leads to many others being brought to light.... And she became friends with Chloe after the blonde tried her best to be a better person. Other than them her only friends are Luka and Kagami. After four years of Hawkmoth threathing everything they hold dear and praying on every negative emotion the young heroes are tired and weary. The stakes have slowly risen with every battle and even with the Lucky Charm cure they can longer ignore the aches of wounds that aren't there. When Marinette gets the class a trip to Gotham she isn't sure what to expect. However she can say for sure she didn't expect to attract the attention of a certain vigilante/billionaire family.
