Marinette's life is left in the hands of a manipulative green eye'd serpent; her friends, her family, and her crush leaving her to deal with it on her own. Not being able to handle the snake without being used by the well-known magical terrorist, she put herself on the back burner and lets her life be decided by her duties as Ladybug. She doesn't let her emotions show, she doesn't even allow herself to feel. Years later, at the age of 17, Hawkmoth is finally defeated but Marinette's heart is hardened, she isn't the same 14 year old hero. She is stronger in every way possible, now that Paris is no longer calling her name she decides to move to a place that is, a place cursed with Plagg's destruction energy. She make's it her job to cleanse the city, to become a hero needed by the everyday city. That city though is already protected by strong and unrelenting hero's and they make it their job to find out who exactly this spotted hero is. She not only has to deal with that, but also a growing friendship and rivalry with a seemingly feared and popular boy in her school. Damian Wayne Al-Ghul, the son of Gotham's most eligible bachelor and richest man, Bruce Wayne. Damian Wayne is described as many things; skillful, smart, terrifying, angry, blunt, dangerous, and so on. He is not a man you approach to make friends with, he is not a man willing to willingly hang out with people, and he is not a man of idle conversation. He doesn't have the time to talk and make friends, after all he is Robin, one of the protectors of Gotham, and a trained assassin. Although, with his families growing concerns on his lack of friends he is forced out of the mantle of Robin. Now he has to make a ' change' he has to make a ' friend' and when a blue-eyed girl- who seems to have no problem making friend's- come into his life he decides that she will be his friend as she seem's to be the only one adequate enough.

Marinette is abandoned by her friends, her only supporters were Chole, Kagami, Luka, Jagged, Penny, and her parents. What happens when Marinette's parents are murdered and she ends up in Gotham. What happens to Marinette who's soul is lost, will she find her faith? What will she do when she finds out that she has family in the City of Crime?

Marinette is tired of her class. They have been bullying her for three years. Lila has almost full filled her promise. But her true friends have stayed by her side. She had to bench Chat after he attacked her. The only good thing besides finding her true friends is that her fashion dream is starting to come true. Bruce Wayne and Lex Luther are offering an all payed trip to Gotham and Metropolis for the class that writes the best essay. Marinette wins, while there she hopes for a break but will she find something more?

And on top of that, Mari is broken, thanks to her parents and Lila. So when she wins a trip to Gotham for 3 months for her class and meets Jason Todd, what will happen when Lila finally goes too far and makes Marinette finally snap? Marinette Dupain-Cheng or better known as Marinette Marina Jackson is the daughter of Poseidon and twin sister to Percy Jackson. When she was a baby she Talia Al Ghul found her and brought her to train with the League of Assassins. There she met Damian Al Ghul and was betrothed. After Death Strokes attack Marinette was sent to live in Paris with an ex assassin and Damian was sent to live with his father in Gotham.
