After an unexpected injury forces Yuriko Hinata to leave Japan's elite youth volleyball program, she finds herself back in Miyagi at Karasuno, the school she never planned to attend. 

What was meant to be a quiet return and a step away from the sport becomes anything but, as Yuriko is pulled into the energy of the Karasuno team-where the gym is messy, the players are loud, and volleyball feels alive in a way she thought she'd lost.
