Months have passed since the climatic final battle in the Zone Wars and Dr. Oliver after months of hiding has returned with his eyes bent on getting the Chaos Emeralds and ruling the world more then ever. After Green and some of his friends are tricked into a race Dr. Oliver Eggman hosts he moves forward with his plans to claim Little Planet a second time over but this time Dr. Oliver Eggman has back up in the form of not just a more powerful Mecha Sonic but Metal Knuckles, Eggman Robo, Tails Doll and most of all his Chaos Emerald powered Metal Sonic! Using the power of the Pink Chaos Emerald, Dr. Oliver Eggman has created a Metal Sonic far more powerful then his brother Julian's attempt at Metal Sonic! With the Pink Chaos Emerald now completely fused with the new Metal Sonic it seems like there is no hope of Super Sonic or any other Super Forms coming back. But thanks to the new Cyan Chaos Emerald the balance of Seven Chaos Emeralds has been restored and Dr. Oliver Eggman is bent on getting this new Cyan Chaos Emerald believing that now a total of eight emeralds exist. Sonic is somehow pulled into the world of Mega Man, and he doesn't know which side to pick until he and Mega Man are captured by the infamous 'Dr. Wily', forced to join sides with the robot kid. They join together to try and stop a nefarious plot of the evil doctor, but will Sonic be able to help his friend, or will this be their final battle?

Modern Eggman is dead, but is not out. Soon after his death, Modern Orbot initiates the doctor's revenge plan to distroy Sonic; but not physically this time- mentally. Even those who have no idea aren't safe. In the Boom Universe, what looked to be a routine battle turned seemingly deadly. All the Tails from the different universes are herded and contained in the Modern Universe, and the Moderns are kicked out. The Tails will be killed, and they can't do a thing. However, the Moderns spread the word to the frantic Sonics and join forces to fight back. The Tails join into one Skulk, and fight to break free. But will the heroes claim the final victory?
