After falling in love with Sirius Black once, Remus doesn't think he can do it again. The Marauders (plus Lily, of course) all moved in together after Hogwarts, so when the most responsible one announces his desire to go to America, it was a surprise. Of course, how can they say no to Remus? A sweet and fluffy (and angsty, who could forget? but if you've been reading my fics long enough you know i can't write a fic without the angst) fic in which the Marauders realize love isn't quite as far away as they assumed. // 2018

this is the way most disasters start, with sirius. it's no surprise that sirius gets james into another ridiculous situation. but -- sirius does end up meeting the cutest guy ever at a bar, and james does end up meeting this adorable redhead, so, small perks.
