Being an Admiral sounds fun but it is definitely not easy. First there is the war with the mysterious Abyssal Fleet, which have decided to lock down the sea and it's surrounding airspace, indiscriminately shooting at anything they deem a threat. Then there is the issue with logistics and resources, which is hard to come by with the whole lock down going on. Most important job of being an Admiral is ship maintenance. No, not that kind of maintenance. I'm taking about making sure your ships are both physically and mentally well, since they are actually girls who possess memories of historical naval warships and have their own personalities. My first Kantai Collection story, will transform into a series! The alien Abyssals knew they had made a grave mistake when they killed the old admiral during an attack on the naval base. From the ashes rose a new admiral, along with a group of lesser admirals and before the aliens knew it they were running for their lives like frightened weasels. A newfound peace smoothed itself over the naval base and all the shipgirls rejoiced, but without any battles to plan for, the new admiral and his group found themselves in a war of their own, one that they probably wouldn't win. Whether or not the overly eccentric Kongou class battleships were of any help in this strange war was highly debatable...

The war against the Abyssals is going into its second, brutal year. The shipgirls of the Japanese fleets find themselves overstretched as they faced an enemy with a seemingly endless fleet of warships to throw at them. This book chronicles some of the most important and also decisive engagements of the conflict. It is all pre-written, though new chapters may be written should feedback be positive.

USS Enterprise (CV-6), a floating city of steel. After a stellar service career in World War 2. She was decommissioned in 1958. She's the only ship that earned 20 battle stars. And a presidential unit citation. In an alternate world war 2 timeline. She was called into action along with other ship girls to fight an alien race from another dimension called Sirens. They pushed away humanity from the high seas. Humanity formed an alliance called Azur Lane. The alliance consisted of all the major countries that fought each other during the second world war. Azur Lane was able to repulse the Sirens and brought back peace in the planet. At this point all of the ship girls returned to their normal state. Some went back to the very waters where they were sunk. Others became ship museums. The ones turned into museums were considered the lucky ones. But not for Enterprise. Her scrapping is inevitable. The fight for her to be turned into a ship museum failed. And majority of her steel was used to build USS Enterprise (CVN-65). But somehow her ship girl form suddenly resurfaces in a time when a ninth ship bearing her name has been successfully built and launched. She will also meet her daughter who was made from majority of her steel. Once again the Sirens threatened humanity in the present time. The ship girls from the past have been recalled back into action. Many of the nations thought that Enterprise will never be seen again. That was until she's seen serving as a member of the US Secret Service under a new name and identity. Will she go back to her original duties or will she remain working for the Secret Service? Their story began in WW1. After it's end, it would truly begin in 1992 when they were both launched. They met each over in late 2019 and started hanging out in early 2020. They both knew the risk of their relationship, as their respective sides, Britain and Germany, were rivals. It is the year 2020. Amidst WW3. In a reality where it doesn't have any impact. On October 14th of that year the two realities will reunite. Queen Mary and Derfflinger's relationship would not stay a secret for long, as their respective navies will find out about it.
