Mistreated and malnourished, little Hiccup doesn't understand why most everyone on Berk hates him. Gobber notices the abuse and steps in, but things quickly spiral out of control and the only way to keep Hiccup safe is to smuggle him off of Berk and into the hands of their allies. Hiccup is soon adopted into another tribe and grows up discovering what having a true family is like, but the past never stays in the past, as he soon discovers when Berk reaches out to the famed Dragon Master for help. A story about Hiccup and Astrid on Berk. They are now 21. Takes place after httyd 2. This is my first story ever so please don't hate. Sorry if I have some bad grammar or spelling mistakes. I am here to please some. So enjoy :) Inspired to write this story from all the hiccsrtid stories that I have read that are amazing. Also I would like to thank 2 of my good friends that read my story even though they are not fans in any way of how to train your dragon and that they put up with my obsession about how to train your dragon.

Being the son of the chief takes brains, courage, and a lot of patience. But at his father's the request for marriage, Hiccup decides he has had enough. When he seeks out a life of ease, he runs into more than what he bargained for.

A remake of a book I wrote on my other profile -_-FoxyForLife-_- I do not own How To Train Your Dragon. Book 1 of 4 After a war, Y/n and her mother end up on an island called Berk. Young and frail, Y/n meets a boy named Hiccup. Outcasts for their size and stature, both try to prove they fit in a world that wasn't built for them.

Takes places soon after the Red Death is demolished by the teens and their dragons and progresses on in time. Things start to happen between Astrid and Hiccup after a day at the cove. On the way back to Berk, they find a stone structure in the middle of the forest, and they find out it's a gate. After an attack, Hiccup is thrown into the portal at the gate. Astrid goes to save him, but can the two get out? Can love provail over the ominous evil that lives inside the gate? Twists and turns in there ;) (I do not own these character. - ORIGINAL VERSION - Hiccup Haddock was a child born on the village of Berk, then to be taken by a NightFury in a dragon raid without a trace. But while Stoick and Valka are trying to live while mourning for their lost son, Hiccup is living freely on a Santuarial island created by an Alpha dragon with his best friend, a dragon, the one who stole him, Toothless. Toothless has always told Hiccup that vikings are cruel, horrible people that kill dragons for the fun of it, and that he should stay as far away from them. But when Hiccup gets caught on a hostile, viking-dwelling island, he doesn't know what to do. The Chief's wife thinks it's unfair to torture a child like this, but when Stoick lays eyes on this boy, he has other plans. Will he and his dragon escape in time? Or will his parents soon find their lost son to be returned from the dead? [Original Version only means that there is a new edition, or rather; a Rewritten Copy, which is also in my works.]

Hiccup was always considered the weakling of the village, he was bullied, pushed around and beaten up by all the other teens, even his cousin and the girl he loved. but it was only until one day when he shot down a night fury the most feared dragon in the whole archipelago, the so called offspring of lightning and death itself. But when he couldn't kill the dragon he took the other option... and trained it. him and toothless were the best of friends but one day when he is chosen to kill the monstrous night mare in dragon training , he can't handle it so he runs away on the back of toothless, but only for the two to be snatched up by dragons. but 5 years later when hiccup returns to Berk, he is not the hiccup they all once knew.

AU. Hiccup never took the shot on that fateful night. Toothless was never shot down-and the war continued. Three years later, Berk is beset by dragon raids and hostile tribes while the boy who should have saved the island is merely the assistant in the forge. Replaced as Heir and with only the beautiful Shield Maiden Astrid as his friend, fate gives Hiccup one more chance to end the war and become the hero he was meant to be. Hiccstrid. *COMPLETE* Stoick the vast disowns his son, Hiccup, when he finds out that he has sided with the dragons. Hiccup and Toothless escapes from execution, and plans to never come back. But fate has other plans, as Hiccup returns five years later , and finds out he has to save the dragons from both, Berk and the Red Death. But he also has to save his own life, including Berk from a new enemy., Stoick wants his son to stay home, but what he doesn't realize is that Hiccup isn't 'Hiccup' anymore. He's a whole different person. That is not Stoick's son. "Dad?" Hiccup calls. "Yeah." Stoick whispers, peaking his head into his son's room. "..I love you."

Things at Berk have not been easy since Hiccup was kidnapped and new threats are coming, it's up to Hiccup and his friends to protect Berk from any danger, it doesn't matter if the danger comes from humans or dragons (Sequel to A new Boy in Berk: Riders of Berk)
