Hickey's were hard to hide. That was one of the thoughts circling in Mitch's head when he stood in front of the mirror that morning. He touched the purple marks and squinted, hoping that maybe they weren't that noticeable, but knew that it was a lost cause. They were all over his collarbone, his shoulder. High up into his neck and behind his ear. Scott is a hard-core believer in true love. How could he not be, considering all the successful relationships surrounding him? His parents are going on their 35th wedding anniversary, his sister is newly married, his best friend is engaged, and half of the students in his 3 PM discussion section seem to be deeply infatuated with one another. So, he hasn't found "the one" yet, but that doesn't stop him from believing that he's out there. Scott's nothing special, so there's no reason he shouldn't find love, just like everyone else. He's not worried; when it happens, it'll happen. Mitch has always believed in true love--until now. Now, he's just tired of love. He's been "in love" with three different guys in the past five years, and he's done his heart shredded and stomped on time and time again. Mitch has always been the type to fall quickly and love wholeheartedly, but he's a sensitive creature, and he's not sure he can survive another heartbreak after all he's been through. He told himself he was going to stay away from love for a long, long time, but how can he resist the baby blue eyes and bright smile of the friendly professor next door?

This story is really really sappy and fluffy so if you don't like that, then don't continue reading. There is one or two smut chapters, but it's labeled so if you don't wanna read it, you won't have to. This is my first individual scömíche story that I'm publishing. I really like this story and I'm really really really excited to have you guys read it. I'm sorry that it took longer than I thought, but you'll see why when you read it. In most of the scenarios that I wrote about, there's always something different between the real them and the fictional them I wrote about. If you've ever written a short story or something similar, you always based your characters on someone you know, right? But it's not them? Well, that's what this is. Yes, it's still fanfiction, but it's just that. Fiction. It's a fictional story with fictional ideas, fictional characters and fictional scenes. There's nothing real about it, except that they're words on an electronic screen. I just wanted to clear that up.
