It seems Ladybug shall not be fighting today, so you can easily take Cat Noir down." Marinette tried to rip herself away frim this but she felt so urged to get her vengeance. She can't save Paris all the time. "Yes, Hawkmoth. I hate Cat Noir. I will stop him." Marinette agreed, letting the aluma sink into her necklace Cat Noir gave to Ladybug.

Ladybug and Cat Noir have always been Paris's perfect partnership until recently. Their constant fighting is getting in the way of fighting Hawkmoth's akumas. The Yin and Yang magic of the miraculous have a plan to fix that. Marinette wakes in the Agreste Mansion, missing her earrings, and Nathalie only sees her as Adrien. Adrien wakes in Marinette's bakery, missing his ring, and Marinette's parents see him as Marinette. With their identities revealed, and themselves trapped in the opposites life, the heroes must grow accustomed to living each other's lives and using the opposite miraculous in order to regain the balance needed to be the perfect team. A new hero arrives in Paris and a new encounter turns Marinette's life upside down. But he didn't arrive alone, as a new threat was discovered at the same time, a threat linked to him. Summary: 2 teenagers, Marinette and Adrien, receive ancient magical trinkets that allows them to transform into superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir in order to protect the city of Paris from the evil menace Hawk Moth. Plot Summary: In modern day Paris, 2 teenagers, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste, use magical ancient artefacts known as Miraculous to transform into their hero personas Ladybug and Cat Noir when evil arises. Marinette carries the Earrings of the Ladybug and Adrien carries the Ring of the Black Cat. Marinette is crushing on Adrien and Cat Nor is falling for Ladybug, but neither of them know they're in love with each other. Their archenemy is Hawk Moth, later revealed to be Adrien's father Gabriel Agreste, who uses his own Miraculous, the Locket Brooch of the Butterfly, to turn people into supervillains when they feel negative emotion using small butterflies called akumas. He intends to gain the heroes' Miraculous to grant himself the wish of resurrecting his wife Emilie, who fell prey to using the damaged Brooch of the Peacock and fell into a coma, which will bend reality as they know it. Over the course of the series, as Hawk Moth's minions grow tougher, the heroes get help from Master Fu, the guardian of the Miraculous, who allows the heroes to borrow other Miraculous and recruit more heroes to help them, mainly Marinette and Adrien's classmates. Hawk Moth later gets the assistance from Mayura, a villainess using the damaged peacock using feathers called amoks to create sentimonsters, lifeforms created from someone's emotions, becoming his new partner in crime. Despite all the heroes they recruit and all the enemies they face, both Ladybug and Cat Noir promise each other it is thew 2 of them against the world.

All was well between Ladybug and Cat Noir. She doesn't know about his struggling home life. She doesn't know about the arguments between him and his Father that catches Hawkmoth's attention. By the time she figures something was wrong, all was too late. She can't clean the Akumas without Cat. She's unbalanced. She's being hunted by more than one Akuma. Hawkmoth grows frustrated with Cat Blanc's lack of obedience while he runs wild amongst the city, leading five more akumas. He taunts and teases Ladybug who can do nothing but watch.
