During Jason of Iolcus' quest to reclaim the Golden Fleece, the Argonauts briefly land on an island where a lonely water nymph resides. This short tragedy tells the story of Heracles and Hylas' time on the island.

This play is co-authored with @starwolfwings. She's awesome! This play definitely wouldn't have been nearly as fun to write or as successful without her (we won in a mock Festival of Dionysus against two other plays). Go check out her writing!

[The Greek myth of Jason of Iolcus is NOT created by me or my co-author. You may find it easier to understand this play if you're familiar with the story of Jason and the Argonauts.]

"The Olympians have been called many things, but forgiving is not one of them." * - * - * [adventure, dark comedy, romance - book 1] Loyalty. What did it mean? As the Second Titan War raged across the United States, Half-Bloods began to pick sides. To some Half-Bloods, loyalty meant fighting for their godly parent. For some Half-Bloods it meant standing beside their friends. Sometimes those two definitions of loyalty clashed. They pulled to either side of the war. And sometimes, Half-Bloods picked the wrong side. When the war comes to a close, the traitor Luke Castellan repents of his actions long enough to kill Kronos and is given a funeral with honor. His final act granted him redemption. But what about the living? Who redeems them in the eyes of the gods? This is the story of three Half-Bloods who become the sacrificial lambs on the altar of repentance to the Olympians. A goddess is taken to the underworld as the king's bride; her father knew everything and her mother knew nothing. In this retelling of the Hymn of Demeter, mother and daughter will do whatever it takes to free themselves, no matter the cost. Book I of The Triple Moons' Chronicles * Up in the sky, in a world between myths and lies, lives a daughter caged on an island. She is Persephone. The beautiful Persephone, whom every Olympian god wants to marry-they all want her beauty to conceal their ugliest secrets, but only Hades manages to take her to his realm. He dwells below the earth, across the river Styx, between Tartarus and the Isle of Blest. No mortals can see his forbidden land until they pass away. Forced into marriage by her father Zeus, Persephone would resign from her fate. But when her grieving mother, Demeter, comes close to killing all the mortals, Zeus orders her back to her homeland. Given and returned against her will, Persephone takes charge of her life and eats six pomegranate seeds before leaving. Food from the underworld can't be eaten as it will tie one to the land. As her decision pushes her closer together and apart from her loved ones, Persephone's destiny turns worse. Only she may have the power to change her world for the better. *** CW: While written in a lyrical style, this story is advised for mature audiences only.
