The Circle of Life is a funny thing. Lions rise and they fall. Some turn evil, some are pure, and some are hidden from existence entirely. Simba's son has done nothing wrong, yet Simba hates him with a burning passion. After fleeing from the Pridelands, and finding refuge at the nearest pride, Tarew faces life as a member of the Fuhara Pride, but is the hatred between the two groups enough to drive lions apart and prepare for war? Side note, I don't own the Lion King and some of the characters used in this story, those being: Simba, Nala, Kiara, Kion, Kopa, Mufasa, Scar, or The Hyena Trio. Those characters belong to their rightful owners, but every other character, however, is owned and was created by me.

Scar's plan is in full motion. Ever since the prince of the Pridelands SIMBA was born, Scar over the years manipulated him to join his side against the king of the Pridelands MUFASA, in an attempt to take what Scar believes is his. Over the years Scar has been preparing for the day when Simba would join his side and go against his father, so he prepared a large army of Hyenas from the Outlands to help him and Simba to take over the Pridelands when the time is right. But now Scar's plan is finally ready to be set into motion. Simba's mate Nala is expecting cubs very soon and Scar sees this as an opportunity to manipulate the young Lion into joining his side, he just needs everything to go according to plan in order for him to take over as the new king of the Pridelands....

Kopa, prince of the Pridelands is born. But a darkness from the war of the past is back. ZIRA, Scar's top general and mate, wants revenge against Simba for killing her beloved Scar, and she will not stop until he is dead. During her quest for vengeance, Zira found a cub and adopted her. Over the years Zira has assembled an army of outlanders, who also want revenge against Simba for what he did in the war so many years ago. As Kopa grows older, so does Zira's hate for Simba. Her plan is almost ready to be set into motion. Once her army and her best soldier VITANI is ready, she will take back what she believes is her's, and take over the Pridelands.... After Kopa is murdered, Kiara is no longer granted freedom to anything. In Simba's rage to defend his pride from Zira, he grows stone hearted and no longer grants Kiara the right to select a mate. Let alone look for one. Much time later Vitani is caught to be pregnant by Zira who wasted no time to banish her from the out lands, in her fear of defeat after losing a useful member of her pride she is more persistent on Kovu who soon gives into the manipulation and no longer cares for anything other spilling Simba's blood and hiding from Zira. When escaping Zira's grasp for the day, he is soon caught by the males of the pride after stealing kills, they operate to take his life until he is found by Kiara.

When Kiara lost her brother Kopa, her father never let his guard down. He forbid her of most things, and was often blinded by his responsibilities to remind her why he was doing this to her. As Kiara grew from a cub to a fine lioness, she grew ungrateful and took her life of relaxation and safety for granted. She never though once of the fact that any other lion needed this protection. That being Kovu. A lion who had been taken in by Scar and Zira after Vitani went missing. They raised him as their own, manipulated him into forgetting about his elder sister and sent him after Simba. But as time passed, Kovu abandoned his "parents" and decided to focus on decency. Though Scar and Zira stop at nothing for revenge. STARTING AT-- The cub days...

It has been three months after Kiara and Kovu's adventure. Everything is now back to normal. For the past months Kovu had been tagging along with Simba and his lectures. Everything was going very well until a rogue lion sets foot on their land.
