"He's not our teammate...and never will be."

What started out as an idea has already evolved into a team consisting of:

Superman: The poster boy of superheroes and last of the planet, Krypton.

Wonder Woman: An Amazon Princess with a kind heart but a superiority complex towards the male gender that is still learning the concepts of being a hero and guardian to all.

J'onn J'onnz/Martian Manhunter: An alien from Mars still reeling in the loss of his family and struggling to hold onto his new one.

John Stewart/Green Lantern: A gruff, former Marine with arguably one of the strongest weapons in the universe who finds himself the only sane man on the team.

Flash: A man as fast as a lightning bolt but the maturity of a child at times.

Hawkgirl: A woman with the wings of an angel but a past that still hides in the shadows.

Batman: A grim detective who would rather trust the wind with his secrets than the people he works with...

...and Robin: A young boy whom Batman claims is his son?

Why is a boy named Robin in the Justice League? Although he instantaneously gains the Flash's respect, the other heroes are still doubtful (and borderline objecting) about the boy, including Batman himself.

Something about "doing this before", according to Superman...

Robin now faces an uphill battle as he struggles to prove himself worthy despite his scarred past. With the horrors that are demons, the craziness that is the very town he's sworn to protect, the excitement that is adventure, and the wonder that is friendship itself, Robin clearly has his plate filled to the brim...and he's only eleven!

Along the way, the people he meets, the people that the Justice League will meet as a result, be friend or foe, will alter each and everyone of them forever...

Beyond the Night: Beyond the Team (Young Justice/Teen Titans fanfic) by yemihikari
18 parts Complete
Robin doesn't want to be leader after the events which led to the Teen Titans disbanding, but there is conflict between Aqualad and Red Arrow regarding who will be leader. On top of this, the team gets - as Red Arrow refers to them as - another over glorified baby sitter. Disclaimer - I don't own Teen Titans or Young Justice. This is a part of my Beyond the Night series which is working its way into an alternative origin story for Terry McGinnis from the Batman Beyond series. I'd discovered myself needing to backtrack to earlier in the plot to make things work. This is the first story which won't be a one-shot due to the fact this is the first part which can't be told in the one-shot format. The one-shots leading up to this particular fanfic are Beyond the Night: Beyond Justice is the first fifteen one-shots. For those who don't want to dig into a one-shot collection rated mature (sixteen and up), here is what readers need to know. - The Teen Titans came before the Young Justice Team. The Teen Titans were disbanded because the incident with Trigon ended in a darker manner than the Teen Titans cartoon. While the other Titans got shipped off, Cyborg was left in a comma and a mess. - Barbara and Zatanna aren't the same age in Dick. Zatanna knew the Flying Grayson's but was the fianc茅 of Dick's cousin. Zatanna thinks the only member of the Grayson family left is Dick's uncle. - Roy hates the Teen Titans. He especially hates the "circus freak" leader of the Titans who happened to have posters in their room. What he doesn't realize though is Robin is said, leader. Roy's torn between respecting Robin as the first sidekick but also underestimates him.

Junior year is beginning, and like the same thing every year, Jonathan and Jordan Kent want nothing more than to play football, party, and make some new friends. The past two years had been full of difficulties and dilemmas, but as a new semester rolls around, the winds of change may bring exactly that. But what blows into Smallville isn't exactly what the boys hoped for. Not only does a new hero make a mark in the town, but several new kids find their ways into the town's population. Smallville is nice, no doubt about that...but why now? What is the sudden appeal? As the year progresses, Jonathan begins to develop new powers that are opposite of his brother's and starts to break a wall of peace, Jordan's life as Superboy gets a whole lot more straining, Superman finds that there are some things even he cannot beat, Lois's control over her world begins to crumble, the world itself threatens to explode, others worlds and heroes collide...it's a mess. Thank goodness for friends. And teammates. And pizza. Current/past rankings: #1 in cassiesandsmark #1 in wondergirl #1 in dcsuperheroes #1 in dcuniverse ***These characters are all owned by the DC Universe. I created the storyline and plot. *** ***I have loosely based this story on the tv show, Superman and Lois. While I do enjoy the show, for the sake of my story, I have chosen to keep and omit details, whether its a character, plot, or relationship. So please do not get upset if I am not following along the shows true stroyline.***

A Future Sooner than Tomorrow

25 parts Ongoing

The Justice League somehow winds up several years in the future... Or maybe it's an alternate universe? After all, there seems to be an extra kryptonian protector of this time's Metropolis, one that goes by "Superboy". Alternatively: Clark is ecstatic to see another kryptonian, even if it's one from a (maybe?) alternate universe, but... his fellow kryptonian doesn't appear to share the same feeling of immediate kinship. Luckily enough, Superman wasn't known for giving up!
