"Here you go hon." One of Julianne's many aunts handed her a glass of apple cider. Her cheeks showing hints of her being intoxicated from the shots she had secretly taken with her tio's and older cousins in the garage.

She took a tiny sip since her mouth was dry from the alcohol and stared at the phone. Waiting to get a notification from him.

And when her screen lit up, her face did too.

Keith had sent Julianne a selfie of him next to a corner full of liquor bottles, making Julianne burst into a grin.

Julianne then ran to the garage, putting together the liquor bottles and posed.

Keith grinned at his phone, catching the attention of his cousins around him.

"Oi Keith, what are you smiling at? You got a girlfriend?" His older cousin nudged his cousins shoulder beside him. His cousins in the room going "ooo", making Keith blush.

They all peeked over his shoulder and saw Julianne's selfie of her and the alcohol, "Hey she is cute naman! You got a good one ading" His youngest tita said to him, pinching his cheeks.

He looked back at his phone and smiled.

Julianne looked up at the tv, the nyc new year's eve show broadcasting as they counted down.

Keith looked at his tv in front him, his cousins cheering as they counted down as well. Champagne bottles clinking.

Both Julianne and Keith turned off their phone, getting together with their family as they counted down until 2019.

"9!...8!...7!...6!...5!...4!...3!...2!...1! Happy New Years!" Everyone cheered in both of their houses. Julianne took a sip of her apple cider after landing from her new years jump as couples kissed around the room, she hugged her brothers who were next to her, wishing them a happy new year. Then she hugged her parents who had finally let go of each other.

At the other house, Keith managed to finish his bottle in 3 big gulps as couples in his home kissed. Making him wish he had a new years kiss. And then he thought of Julianne.

Julianne saw his text at 12:03 am when she finished going around the room, hugging and kissing everyone on the cheek.

The two texted all night until Julianne accidentally fell asleep around 4:30 in the morning. Keith stared at his phone waiting for a response until 5:26 am until he decided to rest his eyes. Before doing so, he sent Julianne a text.

When Julianne woke up at 11 in the afternoon, she turned on her phone frantically and pressed on Keith's messages, her heart going haywire at his recent text.

She fell back into bed, hugging her phone to her chest, smiling crazily as she pictured Keith next to her as the ball dropped.
