Kai and Beomgyu have been arguing for an hour so far about which Ice-cream flavour is the best while Me, Taehyun, and Yeonjun are just sitting down and watching what unravels in front of us

"Can you guys argue about it when we get home?! I'm exhausted" Taehyun yelled rubbing his temples

"Only if you agree with me that mint chocolate is the best flavour" Kai glared

"Fuck no" Taehyun snapped

"Well then we stay here"

"I'm the one driving and I have the keys so guess you can stay here" Taehyun smirked dangling the keys in front of Kai's face

"Enough you guys, let's just head home" I suggested

We all sat up and made our way to the car Kai, Taehyun, and Beomgyu kept going while I stopped feeling two arms wrap around my waist. I turned around seeing Yeonjun hugging me

"Thank you Soobin" Yeonjun said

I smiled and ruffled his hair

"No problem"

Everyone got out of the car while I grabbed my keys unlocking the door and went inside. I jumped on the couch letting out a big sigh feeling relaxed, I noticed when everyone was coming in Yeonjun looked a little.. off? He kept his head down like he felt guilty of something. I soon snapped out of it when I felt a tap on my shoulder, I slowly turned around seeing Yeonjun

"Can I talk to you?" He says

"Of course, Do you want to talk in private?" I asked

"No it's okay"

He slowly makes his way around the couch sitting beside me while the others sat down as well being the curious people they are

"Are you alright Yeonjun?" I say sympathetically

"I-I have to leave" He stutters

I felt empty and hurt jumping to the most negative conclusions

'Was it me? Did I do something?'

'I said something rude didn't I?'

I took a deep breath

"Why?" I said

"I can't tell you but I promise I will one day, Half of the reason is because I do need some time alone" Yeonjun confessed

I hesitated trying to process what he meant

"Please don't hate me" He whimpers wrapping his arms around me

I glance at my friends who are also having a sad look on their faces, I look down at Yeonjun who is nuzzling his face in my chest

"Hey, I would never hate you. I understand" I say softly rubbing my hand on his back

He looks up at me while I am caressing his hair gently trying to hint at him that it's okay

"When will you be back?" Kai asks

Yeonjun hesitates

"Just a year" He replies

"A YEAR?!" Taehyun says

"That's too long" Kai pouts

"I'm sorry but I have no choice" Yeonjun giggles from the youngers actions
