Part 14

"Do I look stupid, be honest," I ask him, looking down at my feet. (

"No you look amazing," He says as he sits up and pulls me into an awkward hug. "I guess I gotta step up my game now." He laughs and gently pulls me down onto the bed next to him. Just as we're about to keep talking, someone yells my name from downstairs. I groan and get up off of the bed, gesturing for Schlatt to wait a second.

"Coming!" I yell as I leave the room and head downstairs. From somewhere in the house I hear a few chuckles and I roll my eyes as I meet Poki, Madi, Bee and Toby in the family room.

"Let's go get food." Bee says simply, looking at me. I nod my head.

"What are we in the mood for though?" I ask

"I kind of wanted Chinese..." Poki suggests.

"Ok, but what about Sushi..." Madi adds on.

The five of us bicker back and forth before eventually deciding to get Chinese because there wasn't a single sushi restaurant close to the bnb. We say our goodbyes to the boys before piling into Toby's car. I text Schlatt to let him know I left.

Me: i guess we're going to get chinese, do you want anything?

Schlatt: no but thank you, Ted says he's gonna grill in a second here

Me: oh damn, 😔 see you in a bit then. Tell Ted im going to kiss his girlfriend

Schlatt: oh, he says "please don't"

The drive to the restaurant is pretty quick, and we don't have to wait long for a table either. After ordering we start chatting about literally anything, but Poki eventually brings up relationships.

"So you and Schlatt huh?" She asks, giving me a big smile. I blush a little bit and laugh awkwardly.

"Yeah you guys are all over my twitter!! Are you dating?" Toby adds on, showing me a few photos of Schlatt and I from her phone. One of them is from when I was holding Schlatt's hand earlier in the day, but the others are all from the panel or meet and greet. My blush grows and I give them all a smile.

"Well, we aren't dating, but we have been spending a lot of time together." I say with a laugh, making Bee freak out a little.

"Ooo, get it!!" Bee yells out a little too loudly, making everyone else in the restaurant look over at us awkwardly. The five of us can't help but laugh at the reactions and continue our conversation until our food arrives.

"So are you guys ready for the party?" Poki asks after a little while, switching gears. Bee nods her head vigorously as she eats.

"I'm more ready for the after party!" Toby says with a laugh. I just nod my head, not really wanting to say that I wasn't really planning on going to the after party for very long.

We ended up staying at the restaurant until around 7:40, when we decided it's probably time to head back to the bnb so that we don't miss the party bus coming to pick us up. Back at the bnb the boys were eating some undercooked meat that Ted had made when we arrived. Schlatt was outside so I decided to hang out with Travis and Cooper in the family room until the bus arrived around 8:15. We could hear the music playing on the bus from inside of the house.

"Oh hold on guys, I think I left some of my stuff upstairs, just give me a second!" I say, running up the stairs. I didn't really leave anything, but I wanted an excuse to pick a seat close to the door on the bus, as the farther into the bus you get, the more wild things get, and I didn't really want to be too close to the action. I stand in my room and stare at the bed for about thirty seconds before turning around and starting to head back downstairs. The house is quiet and I meet Schlatt at the bottom of the staircase.
