Sorry for the delay. I lost all of my motivation and I think I might be a lesbian lmao. Let's just say that I didn't update in September in order to avoid losing no simp September.

After pawning all of the cleaning duties off onto Josh and Travis, I headed up to my room to get ready for whatever the rest of the day had in store. The boys had briefly talked about lounging around the pool for a while, so I put my bathing suit on under my clothes. I spent some extra time getting ready, content to hear the sounds of the boys yelling in the backyard through the balcony door. Before long I found myself looking out the window watching them splash each other and scream bloody muder.

Eventually I make my way downstairs to see the kitchen spotless and Schlatt waiting for me on the couch, scrolling through something on his phone. As I make my way into the main room, he greets me with a big smile and puts his phone in his pocket. I smile back at him and throw myself down onto the couch next to him.

"What do you want to do for the rest of the day?" Schlatt asks me as he puts his arm on the back of the couch, leaning back and looking at me. It's already the middle of the afternoon, and I'm still tired as hell, so I kind of don't want to do anything.

"Can we make a pillow fort and watch movies for the rest of the day?" I ask him eventually, turning my body to face him and giving him a big smile. He gives me a huge grin in return.

"Of course we can!" He exclaims, standing up from the couch quickly and pulling me up with him. I can't help but laugh at how excited he seems. Together we run around the house, grabbing spare blankets and pillows to use as our building materials. Considering that there was a huge TV screen in the basement, which was a part of what the owners called the 'movie theatre,' we decided to build our fort there instead. I almost fell down the stairs because I couldn't see my feet over the huge pile of blankets I had in my arms, but at least my landing would have been cushioned I guess. When we get into the main room, Schlatt throws a few pillows at me and laughs his ass off as I stumble and yell at him a little bit. We start on the fort, tying blankets to whatever we can and doing our best to support it.

I was so busy trying to stabilize some of the blankets, that I didn't even notice that Schlatt was already laying down in the sorry excuse for a fort that we had made. He was happily watching me with a little smile on his face, so I did the only thing that I could, and threw a pillow right at his face, hitting him square in the nose and making him let out an 'oof.' He pushes the pillow off of him and sits upright, glaring at me playfully.

"Watch it. We both know I would win the pillow fight," He says with a smirk, making both of us laugh. I roll my eyes at him before going back to continue building the fort, and eventually schlatt joins me, helping with some final touches to keep the fort stabilized. Once it's finished we stand back and look at it proudly.

"Ready to test it out?" He asks, dramatically holding out his hand for me to grab.

"Of course." I tell him, grabbing his hand as he leads us into the fort. It's not huge, but we could probably fit three or four people inside comfortably, and we had piled up all of the blankets and pillows that were left over to make it more comfortable. We both flop down and start to get comfortable amongst the blankets and pillows. Schlatt also grabs the TV remote before haphazardly throwing a blanket over the two of us and laying down next to me. It would be a fat fucking lie if I said that my heart didn't start beating faster as he got comfortable next to me. Sure, the proximity wasn't a big deal, and we had kissed before and all that, but my nerves were sort of getting the best of me.

"What do you want to watch?" He asks me, breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Uh," I think for a moment, "Something more light hearted, I'm not in the mood for anything scary and sad." I explain to him, earning a nod. We start to search through movies before finally deciding on some old comedy that we both remembered watching when we were younger. I can't even pay attention to the movie as it starts, I'm too busy thinking about the man next to me. He had put his arm around my shoulders at some point, and scooted a little closer to me, so I was kind of tucked in under his arm and next to his body.
