The Way Home, Male reader x Yang Xiao Long volume 5

After the newly reunited friends had gotten settled and they had explained how Y/n had lived several times they decided to all go and visit Sam and Aki.

Y/n had talked to some people and gotten ahold of a transport for a couple days so they could get out the village. Y/n stood in front of the vehicle with only his fully robotic arm and his stump with his ribs wrapped tightly to help them set.

Y/n: you guys ready to go?

Yang: yeah I think so.

All of Y/n's friends climb into the transport and they head off towards the village where he had lived.

They arrive outside the village and all get out of the vehicle as the village locals vacate their homes to look at the strangers.

Nora: curious bunch aren't they?

Y/n: well we are a bunch of people armed to the teeth and looking nothing like them.

Nora: good point.

?: (squealing) Y/n!!!

Aki ran out of the crowd straight into Y/n wrapping his knees in a hug with Sam not far behind who knocked him onto his back making him gasp. Aki then sits on her knees next to Y/n.

Aki: which one is Yang??

Yang: (laughing) that would be me, and you are?

Aki, realizing she was out in the open freaked out and scrableb behind Sam as he stood up and looked at Yang.

Aki: (to Sam) she's really pretty!

Yang laughs some more before looking meaningfully at Y/n

Y/n: Sam Aki, these are the rest of my family. Nora, Ren, Jaune, Blake, Weiss, Ruby, and my girlfriend Yang, and we can't forget Uncle Qrow, (whispering) he loves hugs

Qrow looks at him and rolls his eyes.

Y/n: now it's your turn to introduce yourselves.

Sam: hi, my name's Sam!

Aki: (still behind Sam) I'm Aki

Aiguo: I recognize that voice, Y/n is that you?

Y/n turns and embraces Aiguo and Ayumi.

Y/n: It's good to see you

Ayumi: (looking past Y/n at Yang) and is this the beautiful Yang you always told us about over dinner?

Yang: (smiling) I sure hope so.

Aiguo: will you guys be staying long?

Y/n: no I'm just here to finally take Sam and Aki with me and set some things up for my house. Oh Yang do you want to see my house?

Yang smiles and nods before letting Y/n lead her away.

Ruby: yeah lets go!

Weiss: no Ruby, just let them go.

The rest of team RWBY look up at Y/n with Aki in one arm the other holding Yangs while Sam leads the way to their home and smile.
