Another earthquake occured, just a few moments ago. I'm at the headquarters right now. A minute passed, we received a news that another road got broken near the building I'm living in. My heart began to thump fast.

I went there immediately, together with Lin Jing and Sang Zan. Zhu Hong told us that she's already there. I let Lin Jing drive, because my head kinda hurt caused by the shaking and my heart is not in a nice condition. I'm a little nervous as well but I know Shen Wei is okay because he's probably inside his unit. But the earthquake might cause other damages as well. What if something bad happened inside his unit, right?

These past days were distressing. Everyday, I feel too used up and I couldn't recharge properly because I seldom see Shen Wei. I haven't brought him home from work, for a few days already. I feel so devastated.

As we reached our destination, we saw how our fellow policemen stop people from getting near the scattered road. I looked around and saw Shen Wei getting out of the building. I tapped Lin Jing's shoulder before walking towards Shen Wei.

"Where are you going, Mr. Shen?" I approached him.

He flashed a sweet smile that made my heart feel at ease. Who said I was going through a lot? He pushed the center of his glasses to adjust it.

"I just want to see how much the earthquake caused, Chief." he replied.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Shen. But as you can see, civilians are not allowed near the damaged road. So I propose that you go back to your unit, eat dinner and take a rest."

"Chief, I know you're worried—"

"I'm not." I cut him by defending myself.

"Okay, you're not worried. So please let me go there, I will not make any trouble."

"I didn't know, Mr. Shen is actually a gossiper, huh?"

He shook his head and took a step forward. He's being stubborn again.

Having no choice, I put my hand on his shoulder and walked with him towards the chaotic group of people. Some people were looking at us but I didn't mind. We're not doing anything bad, except for me, flirting first than doing my job.

It's already 8 and traffic got worse in this road. I should help in lessening it for the convenience of people.

"Little Wei, come on. Go back inside already and take a rest after eating dinner. I'll probably be late again so I won't be able to see you later."

"You're leaving?" he asked which I nodded in response.

"Okay. Take care, then. And one thing, uhm, you can stay at my unit later. J-Just if you want to."

I smiled widely. What does that mean though? I can sleep with him or I can stay at his unit but I'll sleep on the couch?

I was in a hurry so all I can respond to him is, "Okay, but don't wait for me anymore. Go to sleep early."

I then directly gave assistance to people having a problem getting out of the traffic. As time passed, the traffic finally ceased because the people who gathered earlier already left.

I wanted to go off already but I still need to check something at the headquarters. Lin Jing was teasing me when we were on our way back to the headquarters.
