After her sister died she was forced to grow up. To prepare for a title she never wanted and fulfill the expectations of her pack. As much as Samantha wanted to be an ordinary she-wolf with no responsibilities on her shoulders, it seems... inevitabl...
This is just a quick little note before the chapter begins. In the last chapter, Samantha and Xavier said their gonna wait 1 month (30-31) days before she decides if she wants Xavier to claim her as his and accept the rejection from Dale. I was wondering if to go through each and every single day but that might be such a drag on I'm thinking. If I did that, it's 30 days of 30 different things they'll have to do while I'm trying to develop other characters. Keep in mind Samantha is graduating from high school soon. So I'll just pick a few days to talk about what they're doing to get to know each other, for example, I'll do day 1-3 or 1-5, then skip to day 10 then day 13, and so on.
I got a job so updates are gonna be slower than usual, I'll be coming home at night, and depends on my energy to update we'll see how it goes. I wanted to finish this book in mid-February but it's still so much more to this book we haven't even touched the surface. Taking a look at how many things still need to be discussed, I don't think 30 chapters is enough for this book honestly...maybe 40? including a bonus chapter and epilogue! A sequel is undecided till the ending of the book. This book should be done in April 2021 <3
LET THE CHAPTER BEGIN!
~Day 1~
My stomach was still doing backflips from the agreement I made with Xavier last night. Today marks the first day everything should be in full effect with him trying to impress me. While I was drying my hair off, my mom came in to help rebandage my stomach, to say it hurt was an understatement because it hurt like a bitch. When she was done, she helped me step into my comfy outfit to hide all the bruises on my arm. It surprisingly is healing better than the last set of injuries Dale gave me.
I wore a cream long sleeve sweater, blue and green thigh-length pleated skirt, grey stockings, and dark brown boots that reach my calves. My mom straightened my hair so it fell just above my waist. I look beautiful. My black eye went away and my face looked completely normal and smooth.

My mom was helping me put the finishing touches on my hair so it wouldn't frizz up and a loud car honk was heard outside my house.
"Are you expecting someone sweetie?"
"Not that I know of," I said and walked to the window slowly. A sleek midnight blue BMW 5 Series was parked in front of my house. I stood there in shock because I know that isn't Stacy's car...so whose own is it?
"Mom, did you buy me a new car?" I asked over my shoulder, still in shock.
"No," She said puzzled and walked to the window to spy.
My perfectly shaped eyebrows touched my hairline when I saw Xavier step out of the car looking handsome as always. My lips parted and I could feel my eyes changing slowly. Xavier stood in all his glory wearing a dark blue denim jacket rolled up on his arms a little, white jersey, dark blue denim jeans, and black boots. He looked delicious. I found myself unknowingly licking my lips, he probably saw me because a smirk took over his gorgeous features.
