Chapter 3: 

Change of scenery

Y/N's POV:

He led you away from the cell and up a staircase. As you walk up the stairs you begin to see gold and lots of it. Everything was covered in gold. Again you found yourself dumbfounded with your mouth open in shock. Even as the daughter of a lord you had never seen anything like it. You dared to not look at him, but you could tell he was staring at you. You then saw him smile at you out of the corner of your eye. "This could all be ours one day. If that was something you would want." He said with a genuine smile. You looked at him and returned the smile.

You both walked for a few minutes until he came to an abrupt stop in front of two doors. "These will be your chambers. The room to your left is my chambers. I trust that you won't come into my chambers unless there is an emergency or I invite you in. The same goes with your chambers, I will respect your privacy unless you invite me in or there is an emergency, Understand?" "yes", you replied. "Great" he said with a smile. "Let's get you acquainted with your chambers, the rest of the castle, and some rules." "rules?" you asked. "Yes, just some basic ground rules." he replied.

You walked into your chambers and gasped. This was certainly an upgrade from the cell you woke up in. In the center of the room against the wall was a large king sized bed with a Y/F/C duvet. There was an armchair to the right side of the bed and a door that most likely led to the bathroom. To the left was a door with a large walk in closet. Inside the closet were multiple dresses that looked to be your size. Outside of the door was a desk with some books and papers. Closer to the door was a coffee table and a large couch. After you explored the room, you thanked Loki and were off to be shown the rest of the castle. He showed you the dining hall, throne room, guest rooms, and ended with the library. As you walked into the library you couldn't help but drop your mouth in shock. There were rows and rows of books. "Like what you see?" asked Loki. "yes" you gasped. "Do you have any books on midgard? You asked. He looked puzzled on why you would want to read about midgard but replies" yes, follow me". He led you down the isles of the massive library and pulled out a few books and handed them to you. You looked surprised as he started to walk away beckoning for you to follow him. "You mean I can borrow these?" "yes, this is a library after all". You smiled a heartfelt smile for the first time you got here. As you and Loki walked back to your chambers you got into a deep conversation about your interest in Midgard and their books. "You read a lot?" he asked. "Yes it is my favorite way to spend time and I have always liked learning new things. You?" "Yes, I have always loved to read." 

Before she could ask what he liked to read they turned a corner and she ran into something hard. She fell on her butt, and dropped her new books. She looked up to see what she ran into to see a tall blond man wearing red and silver armor. He immediately apologized and held out his hand to help you up. Before you could reach for it, Loki swatted the man's hand away and held out his hand to help you up. You took his hand and began to stand up. As you stood up, the blond man began to speak. "My deepest apologies lady..." Before you could give him your name Loki spoke for you and said, "none of your concern". The man was taken back by this but quickly brushed it off. "I am Thor my lady." He turned away from you and began to speak to Loki. "Who is this brother?" 'brother' you thought. Then it all came together this is Thor, the God of Thunder. "None of your concern, brother" Loki replied bluntly with a bit of annoyance in his tone. He then took you by the hand and began to drag you away. Thor then shouted, "see you around mystery lady". 

You smirked at his comment but then quickly wiped it off your face as you say an angered Loki. After the walk back to the chambers he had calmed down. He stopped in front of two doors to the left of your chambers. "These are my chambers. I'm inviting you in to discuss some rules" He opened the doors and you followed him in.
