I heard voices mumbling as I woke up. I sat up, slowly and saw Emma and the rest of the group, standing or kneeling by a Lost Boy.
"Riley!" Someone exclaimed and I felt my body being tackled into a hug. My eyes widened when I saw my father hugging me. I pulled away in shock.
"Where's Peter?" I asked and Hook's face softened.
"Oh, Riley," Mary Margaret sadly said. "You didn't?" I nodded and Hook's face hardened in anger.
"Bloody hell," He cursed under his breath and he stood up, walking away from me. There's the Papa I know.
"Where are Henry and Peter?" I repeated, looking around at the people. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Felix smirk and glance at me. I jumped to my feet and ran towards them, gripping his shirt and pulling him to me. "Where are they, you little imp?!" I screamed. Felix chuckled, bitterly at me.
"He's gone. You should know that Pan never fails, Riley. I mean you love him right?" He teased. My eyes darkened and I held my hand up. I plunged it into his chest with magic glowing from it. Felix gritted his teeth in pain and whimpered. I felt myself being jerked back and my hand was ripped from his heart that remained beating in his chest. Emma gave me an angry look and pulled me away from the group, gripping my arm pretty tight.
"What the hell was that?" She snapped, letting go.
"Look, I made a deal with you. I would look after your son and return him to you. I tried and I didn't succeed. I'm trying to keep my end of the bargain, alright?!" I exclaimed with angry pushing through my bloodstream.
"You don't need to use violence. These kids have been through hell and back." Emma explained with a sad expression.
"Emma, I've known these boys for years. Hell, I was one of them once. Don't you think I haven't hell and back because believe me, I've had the same amount as them." I hissed. Emma seemed shocked.
"Riley-"
"I'm not telling you shit, okay?" I snarled and turned around to walk back to the others. Regina was pacing back and forth with her nails in her mouth, nervously. Felix grinned at me.
"They're gone. You'll never find them." He spoke. I glared at him but then, gasped.
"Wait..." I trailed off. Regina's head snapped towards me.
"What?" She raised her voice.
"He's actually doing it," I spoke out loud.
"Doing what?" David ran over to us.
"Who?" Emma piped up.
"Years ago, a girl arrived on the island. She was believed to be the Heart of the Truest Believer. Pan wanted her heart, but I beat him to it." I smiled, proudly.
"Get on with it." Rumple hissed, rolling his eyes.
"He found another one but he was a boy who wasn't born yet." I continued. I shook my head. "The point is that Peter is dying and he needs Henry's heart to absorb all the magic in Neverland. Once he does, he will be immortal, all powerful."
"What will happen to Henry?" Mary Margaret asked, looking a bit worried.
"Well, you see it's a trade. When Peter lives, Henry will die." I conclude, my voice growing smaller. Everyone become silent. I got up and walked around camp, searching for a crossbow. I saw Peter's tent and dashed towards it, opening the tent flaps and entering. I went towards the chest box and kneeled down, opening it. I rummaged through it and pulled out some arrows, throwing the bag on my shoulder. I grabbed the wooden crossbow and dodged out of the tent. I started to run out of camp until Regina spoke up.
