chapter 23 ? let's save henry

"Where are you going?" She called. I turned around and faced her.

"To save your son." I stiffly said and then, started to walk away.

"How can we trust one of his little imps to help us?" Regina screamed. I stopped in my tracks, narrowing my eyes. I spun around on my heel and stormed up to her.

"Listen up, lady! I wouldn't trust me either but it seems to be your lucky day. I've put up with everyone's bullshit for a long time and I'm getting impatient. Sister, you don't want to see the fastball I throw when that limit of patience runs out." I snapped. Regina shut up and stared at me. "Now, we can do this the easy way or the hard way, Your Majesty." I finished.

"What do you suppose we should do?" She calmed down, her voice coming out soft.

"Time's a wasting. We have to get to Skull Rock. That's where the hourglass and Pan's youth time clock. You see when Pan came to Neverland, he made a deal with the soul spirit of Neverland, which is his shadow. If he agreed to the shadow's deal, anyone else who entered Neverland would be able to stay young as long as they were on the island. Unfortunately, Pan found a loophole. Henry's heart. Emma sat across from me while Neal, Regina and Rumpelstiltskin sat beside her. The Lost Girl handed me the paddles and I saluted her off. The Girls went to the front of the boat and started to push it out into the water. I waved to them from the water when we got far enough out. I swung the paddles over the boat and started to row.

"How do you know this much about Neverland?" Emma asked. I shrugged, moving the paddles in the water a little faster.

"You learn things after being here for 200 years," I told her. Regina jumped forward and stared up at something. I looked behind my shoulder and saw Skull Rock coming into view. It glowed from the inside and was absolutely glorious. "There it is." I rowed to the inside of the rock island and reached out, touching the shore. The other got out and Neal helped pull the boat closer to the dock. I gave him the rope and he tied it down. I climbed out and saw the staircase that lead up to the top chambers.

"Okay, let's go, save Henry," Emma ran to the staircase and I saw a glimpse of magic covering it.

"Emma no!" I yelled and she bounced back in the air, landing on her stomach. Neal rushed over to her.

"Are you okay?!" He exclaimed, helping her to her feet. She nodded.

"It's a protection spell." I told them. I shook my head and reached my hand out to touch it. I jerked back when I felt it getting stronger as I got closer. "Sneaky bastard."

"What?" Regina snapped. I rolled my eyes.

"The Shadow Spell," I whispered.

"And?" Regina raised her eyebrow.

"Only people without shadows can pass through." Rumple spoke up and I nodded. He stepped forward and passed through the barrier. Emma's mouth gasped out in shock.

"How-what?" She stuttered.

"You weren't lying when you said you ripped your own shadow off," Neal said, looking at his father.

"I gave you my word, Bae and now I need that," Rumple pointed to Pandora's box, which I hadn't noticed before. I stared at it as Neal gave it to Rumple.
