Story Plot for Dreakrin

EDIT (28th JUNE 2021): SHARD'S PRONOUNS ARE NOW HE. IGNORE THE SHE.

20 years after the prologue is set, all the kings are now successfully ruling over their own tribes and doing well. Including Valborga. One day, he asks the kings for a formal meeting in his castle, this is suspicious but they all attend. It turns out to be a trick and he tries to make them sign a form that gives him permission to rule over their tribes or they die. King Peppermint and King Yellowfin sign the form but King Pendragon and King Spice escape with serious injuries but survive. They put them and their tribes into hiding and Valborga doesnt know where they are. They have set up a large camp in the rainforest together.

King Pendragon and Spice realise they need an army (they never had one before) and are looking through the tribe for an army General and just normal military soldiers. Many sign up, and they find a dragon called Shard who makes a perfect General. Shard ends up being so good that they are invited to all formal meetings and ends up also being Pendragon's bodyguard. All is well so far.

One day, Shard is invited to a formal party in the main tent to meet royalty and some other high class tribe members. Pendragon introduces her to a dragon called Lamp. Lamp is beautiul, with pale blue and purple scales that glimmer in the sunlight. Weeks after, they become very close friends. But a day later, Lamp turns out to be one of Valborga's spies and tries to knock out Shard, Shard tries to fight back but Lamp has unusual Llantail fighting techniques and attacks Shard, causing her to have permanent scars (hence how they got their scars). Shard is feeling dizzy and passes out, Llantail guards appear and take shard in a net and take them to Valborga's palace. Valborga now knows where the camp is and will soon be setting up his army to raid the camp. Shard tries to stop him but they are imprisoned in his dungeon.

Shard is in the dungeon, feeling betrayed, upset and guilty. They had let their tribe down. Valborga comes into Shard's cell, He is unusually large for his species and towers over Shard. He asks them to follow him to his throne room, and tries to convince Shard to become a spy for his tribe. Shard doesn't want to, but an idea pops up in their mind, they could pretend to be a spy, and warn her tribes of the soon to be war so they'd be prepared... Shard accepted the offer and got training. Just a day later, a week before Valborga's army were going to declare war on the Draculs and Canubias, Shard was ready to "spy". She flew over and told Pendragon everything, Lamp, the kidnapping and her plan and the war. Pendragon made his tribe ready to fight, and so did the Canubia king.

It was time for war, but the Licoricetails, Waterusks and the huge population of Llantails completely outnumbered the two smaller tribes, they had no chance of winning, but still fought. The war lasted for days and the Dracul Queen had been killed, it was dangerous. Shard was going to have to hide, so they found a sheltered cave and gathered food and water. Suddenly, another Llantail appears, but she doesn't seem to be aggressive. Shard asks her who she is and she replies that she was a forced guard of the Llantail palace and had an arranged marriage with the king but didn't want to, so she ran away and went into hiding. Her name is Odina. Her and Shard stay in hiding for a few more days until the war seems to be over. Unfortunately, the Llantails and their allies have won, as the Draculs and Canubias surrendered and are now under Valborga's control. Shard and Odina have to think up a plan to free them. Odina says to assasinate the king, Shard says to try and talk him into letting everyone go. They agree that Shard's plan is the best, but Odina's will be a plan B just incase Valborga isn't interested in talking.

They decide to fly to the palace, Odina is pretending that Shard was a runaway prisoner and brings them into the palace. They go to Valborga's throne room and greet him. Shard and Odina knock out all the guards in the throne room and lock the doors, this makes Valborga concerned and he lifts himself from his seat slightly. Shard asks Valborga to let the tribes go and it isnt fair and stuff, and unexpectedly, Valborga's face changes and he has a sad look on his face. He then tells Shard and Odina his backstory (the prologue basically and all sad stuff lol) and they now both understand what he's gone through to make him so villainous. They are unsure of what to do but plead the king to let everyone go and that they'll tell the other kings to be nicer to him or smth, or apologise, but Valborga declines their offer and sends them out. And along with that, Valborga threatens them that he'll execute the Canubias and Draculs if they ever disturb him again. Valborga can't be changed basically.

Shard and Odina have pretty much lost hope and they sad n stuff. So they're basically just living in the woods and stuff. After a couple weeks, a Dracul (or what looks like one anyway) appears infront of them. Literally appears out of nowhere in a puff of smoke. Was this magic? The Dracul says their name is Abbott and they have come to train Shard to have the same powers as them. Apparently, Shard was the first Dracul in over 1000 years to be born with this special type of rare magic, but it takes some months of training to actually work. A few months later, Shard has become really powerful and stuff and now has the power to kill Valborga and save the Canubias. Abbott is about to leave back to wherever they came from but first they warn Shard about the consequences of having the power. They tell Shard never to take advantage of it, never use it for evil, only use it for good. Shard agrees and Abbott is gone

Shard and Odina then travel back to the Llantail palace and Shard then warns Valborga that they WILL kill him if he doesn't set the tribes free. Valborga laughs and tells Shard that they aren't trained well enough in Llantail fight skills to kill him and prepares to fight Shard, but Shard ends up killing him with a few spells. He is gone, just like that. His body is on the floor, bleeding. Shard didn't expect it to be that easy... And that is the moment they realise how powerful they have become.
