This is my entry for the contest by the amazing eggyeuls ! We were asked to make a manip/cover for one of the songs provided by them.
This is my first ever graphic on ibis paint x so yeah lmao. I have mixed feelings about this one. It didn't go as planned but I think it's okay-ish ? 😌

P E O P L E Y O U K N O W [my interpretation ]
This song talks about how people can change with time. The line 'we used to be close, but people can go / from people you know to people you don't' explains everything. The sky background is for symbolising 'I always wanna get higher / I never know when enough is enough'.
This song gives me sad-ish vibes so thats why I didn't choose happy faceclaims. I chose two female faceclaims 'cause it can be any two people and not just a boy and girl as is typical of the human mind. So these two, irrespective of their relationship, were super close (just like their position in the manip) but slowly they drifted away due to reasons unknown. To potray that I scattered a part of the second faceclaim as if she's fading away. The girl in front doesn't even realise that 'cause she's facing us. And by the time she turns back it's already gonna be too late.
