"Go give that to your moms." I told him and he nodded, running out of the library. I got and pushed the doors open and ran across town. I heard a loud crash coming from the pawnshop. I ran in there and into the back. Rumpelstiltskin lay in pain against a broken shelf.
"Mr. Gold!" I dashed to him and helped him up. "Are you okay?"
"Go stop Pan! Now!" He ordered and I nodded, quickly and ran out of the shop. I spotted my Dad. He was with the rest of everyone and when he saw me, he took me in his arms. I pulled away from the hug and I saw his eyes widened.
"He has the-" I turned around and saw Peter. He waved his hand over us and a surge of magic filled my body. I froze in my place and I couldn't move.
"Curse. That I do." Peter was in his normal body. He smirked and walked towards the group. "Look at you all, a captive audience. I could play you like a pack of dolls, couldn't I?" He laughed, bitterly. He looked at Neal and Belle, smiling. "I think I'll start with these two." He stepped in front of them and smiled. "Hmm, you both look so adorable. Hard to tell who to kill first." He raised an eyebrow and shook his head. "No, it isn't." He looked at Neal. "You. You first." A hand rested on Peter's shoulder and jerked him back.
"Stay away from them." Rumple appeared with his teeth clenched.
"How about this? The worm has teeth." Peter snapped. He pouted his lips, mockingly. "You're here to protect their "loved ones""
"I'm not gonna let you touch either one of them." Rumple threatened, glaring at Peter.
"Oh, I'd like to see that." Peter laughed, stepping closer to Rumple with a smirk.
"Oh, you will." Rumple vowed. Peter's smirk spread wider and he breathed in. "Because I have a job to finish, and I have to do whatever it takes. No loopholes. And what needs to be done has a price. A price I'm finally willing to pay." Rumple turns to Neal with softened eyes. "I used the curse to find you, Bae, to tell you I made a mistake. To make sure you had a chance at happiness." Peter sickly laughed at Rumple's words but that didn't stop Rumple. "And that happiness is possible." He put his hand on his chest. "Just not with me. I accept that."
"Pretty, pretty words." Peter teased.
"I love you, Bae." Rumple said before he turned to Belle. "And I love you, Belle, you made me stronger."
"Stronger, yes." Peter continued. "But, still." He looked down at the cuff that was stuck to Rumple's wrist. "No magic."
"Oh, but I don't need it. You see, you may have lost your shadow but there's one thing you're forgetting." Rumple explained with confidence.
"And what's that?" Peter hissed, taking another step towards Rumple.
"So, have I. I sent it away with something to hide." Rumple triumphantly said. He raised his hand and flicked his wrist. Peter looked up to the sky and he backed away when a ghostly screech called out. A dark shadow, much like Peter's, came towering down and handed Rumple his Dark One Dagger. Rumple grabbed Peter and held him, forcibly to himself. Peter struggled against Rumple's grip and gritted his teeth.
"What are you doing?!" Peter yelled, trying to get out of Rumple's grip.
"You see the only way for you to die is if we both die. And now... now, I am ready." Rumple raised his dagger and I tried to scream bloody murder but nothing came out. He stabs Peter in the back with the blade, but also impales himself with it in the process. Peter screams in pain while Rumpelstiltskin remains silent with a shocked expression on his face. A black cloud surrounds them and the young Peter turned into an old man who I barely even recognized. My knees became weak and I couldn't drop down. "Hello, Papa."
