Violet

"What do you mean she got in your head!" Rosalie hissed.

Edward had just finished explaining to his family about how Bella is his blood singer and about Violet's ability to enter his mind.

"Calm yourself Rosalie." Carlisle intervenes, "Edward was it that she was able to communicate with you through a mental link?"

Edward shakes his head, "Carlisle.. it was more then that.. when she yelled at me to 'stop staring'... it was like..."

Esme stepped forward noticing his struggle to find the right words, " Edward?"

He looks up at his family, "It was like I had too.. like my choices weren't my own."

"Great! This is just great!"

"Rosalie please." Esme try's to calm her but Rosalie was too anger at her brothers foolishness, "No! This is a liability for all of us, first he has a human blood singer, then there is something out there with the ability to control us! To top it off she's mad at Edward because his blood singer happens to be her sister and he almost ate her! Your lucky she couldn't read your mind Edward!"

"Enough!" Carlisle says calmly, "All this yelling will not help our situation. Now, Edward what is your plan with Isabella?"

Edward looks up to Carlisle, " I have to leave... just for a couple weeks. I need to think things through.." Carlisle nods at his son.

"As for Violet," Carlisle continues, "It's not uncommon for humans to poses abilities though it is quite rare, perhaps we keep an eye on her for now. Violet may be angry at Edward now but with him leaving for a couple weeks hopefully that defuses the situation."

"You can't be serious Carlisle!" Rosalie says baffled, "This girl could pose a serious threat!"

Carlisle sighs at his daughter, " What would you suggest Rosalie, I will not condone hurting the girl."

Alice looks across the room to Jasper, she knew he was not faring well with all this talk about his mate and Alice did not fail to see his eyes getting darker.

"Report her to the Volturi, They'll deal with her!"

"Rosalie." Esme reprimands.

"Enough!" I new voice hisses dangerously making everyone turn to the honey blonde vampire who's furious gaze is set on Rosalie, "You will never report her to the Vultori or hurt her! Am I clear!"

Alice knew from her friends voice and tone that he was slipping, "Jasper." She says quietly trying to calm him but it fell on deaf ears as Jasper continued to glare at Rosalie making Emmett slightly inch towards her. The Cullen family was surprised by his sudden outburst and didn't understand why he was so infuriated.

"Give me you word Rosalie!" Jasper hisses making Carlisle step forward to de-escalate the situation, "Jasper.. please calm down."

Jasper's gaze blackened, "I won't allow anyone to hurt her"

Edward suddenly gasped, standing up he slowly walked toward Jasper, " We won't hurt her Jasper... I promise..but you need to tell them."

Edwards words took a moment to sink in with Jasper but he slowly nodded looking towards the rest of his family.

"I won't allow anyone to hurt my mate."

"What?" Rosalie's attitude towards the petit purple head girl changed in an instant, she knows what her adoptive brother has been through and while the thought of a human jeopardising her family angers her .... she'd be completely heartless to take this from him. Take love from him... when his life has never had it.
