Come Through
AFTER HANGING OUT FOR A FEW HOURS, Thomas finally broke the news that his family was moving to Mystic Falls. It was a bit of a shock for Suki but, she was happy to have her best friend back in a time like this. It wasn't even in her thought process to ask exactly why they were moving to the small town right after she did.
Over the weekend, Thomas had also developed somewhat of a friendship with Jeremy. So, now the three were like a trio, much to Suki's dismay. She didn't hate the Gilbert boy, the two of them just had some sort of unspoken rivalry that annoyed her immensely.
"What's wrong with you, Jeremy?" the Kim girl questioned as they ate lunch, the two were both essentially outcasts so they sat together.
Again, much to her dismay.
"Nothing." the dark haired boy kept a straight face and stared at his food, clearly upset.
"Are you sure?" Suki raised a cautious brow, not wanting to push him too far, she wasn't exactly sure the lengths he would go to in his anger.
"It's stupid." the Gilbert boy glanced at the Kim girl, his expression unreadable. "What are you doing tonight?"
"Zach gave me his car to practice driving, I might do that for a little while." Suki shrugged her shoulders. "What about you?"
"I don't know, do you want to hang out?" Jeremy asked almost shyly, his eyes finally meeting hers.
"Sure, we can drive around and then get some food at The Grill." the Kim girl let out a soft chuckle. "Is there a reason we are being nice to each other?"
"I don't know, fluke in the system?" Jeremy suggested before finally eating a French fry from his plate, eating for the first time since they sat down.
"Thomas must be a miracle worker if he managed to make us get along." Suki suggested jokingly, her hands tapping lightly on the table.
But they both knew that Thomas had nothing to do with it.
STEFAN SALVATORE WAS ABSOLUTELY getting on the Kim girl's nerves. He had been protective over her since the day they met but today, he was taking things to a whole new level. She couldn't understand if it was because she was going out with his girlfriends brother or what.
"This isn't a date, is it? I don't think you should be dating at your-"
"Stefan, it is one hundred percent not a date, i'm pretty sure I dislike him a lot." Suki shrugged her shoulders, trying to make herself mean everything she had just said.
"So, why did you invite him over?" the Salvatore questioned with furrowed brows. The Kim had become like a little sister to him and wanted to make sure she was completely safe.
Which is obviously annoying to a teenage girl.
"He seemed upset and Thomas seems to like him, we might as well get along if we have a mutual friend." the Kim girl replied simply. "Besides, you are dating his sister so that's another reason we should get along."
