~Deep waters and Sinking hope~

(I use this writing technique because in my opinion it is simple and easy to read and type it's basically like writing a movie script but different)  *Action* (Thought) "Speaking" Narrative ~Time/Place~ 

YOU NEED TO READ THE PAGE TITLED:  information of  the characters in the story, OR it will NOT make any sense!

Lily- I sat at my desk thinking while flicking my pencil up the desk before it was brought back toward me because of gravities pull. It had been an interesting week in the town in the past three days over six adults and eight kids had gone missing with no signs of where they had gone. Everything that police had given the public was basically telling us the obvious, that it was as if they just vanished. No other signs could lead to any other explanation, and with this all happening all my friends could think about was hanging out at the town's big lake and exploring its new island that had somehow showed up overnight?! Then again Jinx had been begging to go check out the new patch of land ever since it had showed up about three weeks ago, and there wasn't any harm in taking a boat out to it that way we wouldn't get wet- I was brought out of my thoughts when my teacher called on me to answer the question. 

Mrs. Harrison- "Well Mrs. Stone?"

Lily- She had said this with an almost annoyed tone but by her dignified stare I could see almost instantly she had full trust I would answer it correctly. "O-oh uh..." *analyzes the board quickly figuring out the question Mrs. Harrison had so confidently picked me to solve* "c-C" I noticed the shaking tone in my voice as I cleared my throat again before answering again with a calm, "The answer is C" as my teacher gave a look of approval before saying:

Mrs. Harrison- ''Yes my dear that is correct"

Lily- I heard a sigh of relief before realizing it came from me, then I noticed how tense I had been, I exhaled more loosely letting myself relax as I pinched the bridge of my nose, as much as I hated to admit it I did need a little break to just forget school, and the missing people and just have fun with my friends at a lake and all of this thinking was only giving me a head ache.

~After school at Lily's house~

Lily- as I sat on top of the chest which held some of my more fragile belongings inside at the end of my bed, I heard my notification bell ring on my phone as I moved swiftly picking it up with one swipe... My friend Amy had sent me a text asking if me and Jinx were up for heading over to the beach and checking out the new island, I stared at the screen for a second thinking before calling my sister to my room...

Jinx- *walks over to Lily's room and stands in the doorframe* yeah?

Lily- *smiles a little weakly, a bit of exhaustion, The day had decided to over take her since she had got back from school, drama, and work* are you still up for checking out the new island in the lake?

Jinx-*gasps with a little excitement* Really?! wait- are you coming?

Lily- *smirks* yeah, I mean what good is an older sibling who doesn't follower there younger sister around like a lost puppy? 

Jinx- Ha. Ha. very funny...

Lily-oh please I've only begun 

Jinx- your so weird *laughs and walks away*

Lily- I'm aware! *laughs*

~Walking down the dirt road leading to the fishing grounds where the lake is~

Jinx-so who else is goanna be there?

Lily- I never said anyone else was coming..

Jinx-You can't even go out to a pool without at least two people around *gives a skeptical look*
