Once Bitten Twice Shy ║ Rock, Metal, and Grunge Oneshots/Imagines

You and Randy had a tradition, whenever neither of you could fall asleep, you went for a late-night drive. It helped you both to get things off of your minds and just get your energy out before bed. 

One particular night, you had been sobbing to Randy. It had been a rough day for you. Not only were you on your period, but your day at work had been so shitty. 

Your boss at the Target you were working at, was a complete ass to you. When the a phone from the technology section was found broken, he blamed the entire situation on you, even though you didn't even work in the technology section. 

During your lunch break a 3 in the afternoon (15:00), you had tried to call Randy and read your magazine, but your boss took the magazine off your desk and hung your phone up. 

Your shift was was going to be over at 6:30 pm, so as much as you wanted to leave, you knew you only had a few more hours of work or so you thought. 

Just as you were getting ready to leave, your boss contacted you on the walkie-talkie. "They toilet in the bathroom exploded and you need to go clean it."

You felt like sobbing.

You got home at about 7:15 pm and walked directly into the bedroom to change. Randy looked worried as you walked by him without saying a word. 

Finally, once you were done getting cleaned up. You laid down and bed and started sobbing- literally sobbing. 

Randy walked in, "Baby, what's the matter? Are you sick? I noticed you walked right by, which you only do when you're sick. Babe, tell me if you're okay," he begged. 

You lifted your head out of the pillow, to reveal that you were crying, "I wish I was sick, then I wouldn't have to go back to work tomorrow," you sobbed.

"What happened?" Randy asked, kissing you on the forehead. 

"Well, a phone broke in the tech section and my stupid boss blamed me, even though I obviously don't work in that section. And I was gonna call you and read my magazine during my lunch break, but he took my magazine and phone. And then my shift was over, but my stupid boss, made me clean up the exploded toilet in the bathroom," you explained, "And to make matters worse, I don't feel that good  because I'm on my period and just life is terrible today."

You sobbed into Randy's shoulder, and he rubbed your back, "Honey, it's gonna be okay," he said. 

When the time got to be about 8 o'clock you and Randy decided to order pizza. Randy more or less fed you the pizza. 

He was such a good boyfriend.

The time was about 2 AM and neither you, nor Randy fall asleep, so he grabbed the keys and you both got in the car. 

You were extra emotional and were still crying. While trying to tend to you, Randy took his hand off the wheel and the car, skidded and crashed.

You woke up to Randy leaning over the hospital bed you were in. He was picking glass out of your hair. 

"Welcome back, baby," he whispered. 

"What the hell happened?" you asked. 

"We got in a car wreck. You broke two vertebrates and have a pretty damn bad concussion," Randy explained.  

"Oh God. Well, at least I don't have to work now," you joked. 

"I'm sorry, babe. It's my fault. I took my hand off the wheel to tend to you and I'm sorry. I just made it worse," Randy frowned. 

"No it's no, it's my fault. I was crying," you replied. 

"Baby, I hope you know that I care about you. I literally started sobbing and I thought, 'I can't lose her. Not now because I love her. And I need her.'" Randy said.

"Well don't worry, baby. I'm okay. I love you," you replied.

"I love you more anything," Randy said, leaning down and hugging you.
