POV: 3rd person Limited, Aurelia

She left the village later that day. People were sad to see her go, but they knew she was going for a good reason. It wasn't like she was just abandoning them. She took her things, and left.

Now the journey itself wasn't easy. 14 year old Aurelia, just after she left home, was looking for a place far away. Where no one knew of who she was or where she came from. So when she left, she went far. On this ride, she hummed a song while traveling, one of the songs she taught Wilbur before she left.

Wilbur.

She didn't know how he was. Or for that matter, how Techno or Phil was. The only person to ever reach out was Tommy. That was because he had the possibility of dying. She wondered why they never wrote. Or at least sent someone after her, to look for her. Almost as if they never cared.

Of course they cared. They're your family. Family sticks together.

But do they? She was the one to practically raise Tommy, along with Wilbur. Wilbur, was a great brother, but was transfixed on earning Phil's approval or pride. Techno, also a great brother figure, had his own problems to deal with, and training with Phil. Phil, paid more attention to the boys, more specifically Techno. Tommy, who was definitely the closest to Aurelia,  well, was Tommy, blunt and impulsive. Again, questions boiled in her mind. The only sounds that were around her was the galloping of her horse, the occasional chirp from a bird, the clink or bump of things in her pack hitting each other, and the whirring of her brain.

Timeskip brought to you by 20 hours in an old van

It had been a long while, and she could finally see some form of civilization that wasn't a village. A tower. It looked like a tiered cake, like the ones she used to bake as a child, with obsidian accents. Looking down at the coordinates she had written down of the location, she realized she was close.

The surrounding area looked very different from what it looked like when she left. A crater, reaching all the way down to bedrock. A church, with a sign saying: Church Prime. A museum. The bench, where she used to sit as a kid. The wooden path, (nicknamed the Prime Path, by Tommy), one of the things she remembered fondly. And so many other new places she couldn't even recognize. She stood on the edge of the forest, until she felt someone tap her shoulder.

POV Switch: 1st person, Aurelia

"Aurelia Reine, long time no see." The voice chuckled. "Back home? After how long? 2, 3 years?"

"7 years. Hello, Dream." I turned around to face him.

"Glad to see someone remembers me! How've you been?" He smirked.

"I'll cut to the chase. What the hell happened to my brother, and what do you have to do with it. I know you didn't just 'find me'. I'm not that teenager I was before I left, Dream. I grew up."

"Yet you're still the same old Aure. Well, what's happening with Tommy, isn't your business. I know you're close to him. But this is our fight. Not yours."

"Like hell it's not my fight, he's 16 now, not some pawn in your game. Tell me what the fuck you did to him or I will break that smug mask of yours." Fun fact, I actually made him that mask, for his birthday one year. It was surprisingly in good condition.

"Oh, I'm so scared." He teased. "Look. Unless you want to follow me... I could show you where he's going today. But if you don't want to, that's okay. I'm sure George or Sapnap would be happy to see you."

"No, no, I'll go. What are the coordinates? I want to see the place."

"Oh, who said you're going by yourself? We need to catch up, remember?" He grabbed the reins of my horse, who was standing by one of the trees.

"What-"

"Oh, you thought I didn't know about that letter? I know you're very valuable to Tommy. His sister, the one who raised him. He never really got over you leaving. Even in exile, he would tell me about you two as kids. As if I hadn't spent enough time around you already when we were younger."

"What do you mean, exile." I questioned.

"Anyways, you're important to him." He pressed on. Prick. "More important than Tubbo, maybe. Which is why I can't let you go by yourself. Or conscious, for that matter. You could wander off and meet up with Tommy. Or find someone else and plead for help. But basically, no, no you can't go by yourself."

He reached for his axe, a shiny black color. Netherite. I backed away, pulling out my dagger. The dagger itself came from Dream. You could tell, the green gem on the handle. I had to find a way out of this, and fast. I had sparred with Dream many times as a child, and knew how he fought. But he knew how I fought as well. So instead of fighting, I ran. Ran towards the tower, towards the crater. Anywhere.

But, he was faster. I felt the axe handle hit the back of my head. After all these years, he still can't hurt me badly. I looked up at him, grinning. He hit me again, causing me to black out. The last things I remember was hearing the silence of the birds, then getting lifted up onto a horse, and the sensation of wind.

It's great to be home.

A/N:

So- Aurelia and Dream do have a past, and clearly either ended on a bad note or they grew up. Techno being Aurelia, Wilbur, and Tommy's brother figure got discouraged by my sister, (Thx for proofreading sis) who said people wouldn't like it, but I kept it in anyway. Sorry for the massive amount of dialogue. The towers mentioned are Eret's towers. Thank you for reading!

Go eat something, take care of urself, and see you soon <33
