It was a cold, starry night. Y/N would be sitting on their balcony, reading a book that Armin recommended to them. It was a book about what was on the outside world. It seemed like it went through a lot, the spine of the book almost being torn off. Some pages were wilted and starting to yellow since it was now showing its age. Nonetheless, it was quite an interesting read. Y/N was grateful to possess a book with such wonders. The royal wished to see what it was like on the outside. They've heard of seas full of only salt, meadows that were divined with green grasses, sand that covers up the whole word, and so much more than Armin discussed to them. Although, their father did not like the things that were being discussed to the royal. No one knows how many times poor Armin has been scolded at since he had started talking about the outside. The royal felt like their father was hiding something from them, but they ended up brushing it off anyway.

Y/N felt the cool breeze hit their soft skin, making them feel at ease and at peace. They started to yawn, covering their mouth with their hand as they did so. They slowly closed the book and propped upward from their seat. They wrapped their robe tightly close to their body to help them not be so cold from the breeze. As they were heading inside, they heard a soft knock knock. Confused, Y/N would walk to their bedroom door and then open it. No one was in sight. They heard it again, knock knock. This time a little bit louder. The royal now opened their closet door, seeing no one there again. Y/N grew frustrated. 

"Alright, Reiner, enough with your games," they scoffed.

Then Y/N now hears a thump. It sounds like someone was on their balcony. Y/N would quickly grab the closest thing to them that was could be consider as a weapon. They clutched it tightly as they walked to the balcony door.  They were quite quiet and quick, gripping onto their weapon tighter and tighter. They stopped for a second before opening the door and hitting the intruder on the head. The intruder falls to the ground, grunting.

They blinked and inspected the intruder more. It was Armin.

"You got heavy hands, you know?" Armin rubbed his head, grunting from pain.

The royal scoffed and leaned down to help him up.

"Sorry, I can't trust anyone who goes up my balcony nowadays," Y/N chuckles.

"Anyway, why are you here?" Y/N asks, confused why Armin didn't just go through their bedroom door like he usually does. 

"I want you to come with me, Y/N," he states. They look at him with delusion.

"Come with you where?" Y/N blinks rapidly.

"To the bluest sea, the greenest meadows, the whole world is waiting for us, royal/princess/prince," Armin would take their hand.

"If there was one person I'd want to see the world with, it would be you. You're the everlasting sun on my cloudiest days. You've made me feel these feelings I've never profound myself having. My princess/prince/royal, I want you to come with me. We can escape and live a happy life together. We can live in the meadows and have a family. Just... please. We need to."

Y/N was astonished and lost at words. Armin... has feelings for them?

"I...Armin. My father will come to arrest you for kidnapping me," Y/N frowns.

"It's not kidnapping if he knows that you are already going, is it not?"

Y/N huffed before bellowing their head, Armin's finger placed under their chin to perk it up to meet with their eyes.

Oh, his eyes were an astonishing blue. They were just as blue as the sea they were about to discover.

"I do not want to live my life waiting around and to tell you so much about the world that we will never be able to see the beauty for ourselves. Please, Y/N, I want this with you. I just hope you want this with me."

Y/N blinked. Yes, they do want this so badly, but they would leave so much behind. The kingdom, their friends, their family, everything. Do they want to risk their own life of royalty to be with the man they love most?

They would think about it for a moment before nodding their head once.

"I'll do it, just because I love you and I want this life with you, Armin."

Y/N has never seen Armin's face light up more than this moment that was occurring. He quickly stood up and took ahold of their hand.

"Come! We must start packing and get beyond the wall by morning!" He was acting like a little kid on Christmas morning.

Y/N would laugh as Armin would help them pack. All these thoughts rushed through their mind, but they were so glad they picked this decision for themselves. Y/N truly loved Armin as much as he loved them. They would give them the world if they could. Y/N could never trade these precious moments for anything else in the world. ~
