English class had just ended, so I got up and went over to the front of the class where Hizashi was organizing papers on his desk.

"Yo Dad! We need something for Boss," Kyoko said from next to me.

"Oh, is this about the yearbook thing?" He asked, then continued once he saw us nodding, "She told me about it yesterday. It's in the back of the class."

"Thank you!" Kyoko yelled as she ran back to grab it.

As we were about to leave, Mic called after us and said, "Say hi to Akemi for me!"

~timeskip to after school~

Well, this is it. Boss will finally be explaining why she needed the yearbook.

It was finally time for our last class. It seems like getting from yesterday to today took weeks.

We opened the door to find the usual setting.

"Hi girls! Did you get the yearbook?"

"Yeah. Dad says hi. Still don't know why you need it, though. Care to explain?" Kyoko said while passing it to her. We both went to our seats as she began to flip through it.

"Just as I thought," she said, mostly to herself. She then looked up at us and said, "Kurogiri, or one of his close relatives, went to UA."

"Really?" I couldn't be sure if I had misheard or not, or maybe it was a joke.

"Yes, it was either him or a sibling or cousin of his with the same last name. There's also a small possibility there was a flaw in the testing, though."

"Are you going to tell us his last name?" Kyoko asked, seeming impatient. She loved mysteries, but she hated having to wait for them to be solved.

"No, I'm sorry. Eventually, yes, everyone will be informed, but not now."

"That's fine. We can wait."

"I'm the only person besides the doctors that has been told," Kurogiri said, reminding us that he was here, "And no, I can't tell you either."

There was a moment of silence before I asked, "Do you have a name for Kuroshi?"

"No. Not yet. He was constructed differently so it might take a while."

After another moment of awkward silence, we continued with the session as we normally would with any other patient. It's always hard to judge how effective a session is, according to Boss, but hopefully it helps in the long run.

After school had gotten out, we decided to head over to the picnic table everyone was at the previous day. That was when Tenya came running up to us.

"Emiko!" He called out, waving in my direction.

"Oh, hi!"

"Mom found some boxes in the attic. She was wondering if you wanted to go home and look through them as a family."

"Sure, if you two are fine with it," I said while looking at the others questioningly.

"Yeah, it's fine," said Shinso at the same time his sister said, "Well duh! Go have fun!"

"I'll take that as a yes then." I slung my bag over my shoulder and walked over to Tenya. "Bye! See you later guys!" I called back over my shoulder.

~timeskip to the Iida household~

"Hey! We're here!" I yelled into the house while tossing my school bag into the corner.

"I'm in the living room! Just head over once you're settled!"

Tenya went to the kitchen to make a snack for everyone while I followed the sound of my grandmother's voice.

I arrived at the entrance to the living room to find the room littered with boxes. Some were labeled something like "holiday" or "decorations" while others were labeled "storage" or "photo albums." Grandma was digging through an old box labeled "baby clothes" and would occasionally hold up a onesie or other article of clothing and sigh, reminiscing in the memories.

She noticed I was there, looked up, and smiled.

"Hi dear! There's a box I thought you should check, it's over in the corner there," she gestured to an area near the couch.

There was a box over there that looked nearly as old as the baby clothes box. The label was partially faded and in my dad's handwriting, although it was a little hard to make out from across the room.

I walked over and crouched down next to it. There was a strip of clear tape holding it shut, so I reached back and grabbed the box opener I had spotted earlier.

After getting it open, I noticed it was full of what looked like clothes and a few pieces of gear. It was in surprisingly good condition from the looks of it, despite how old it was.

On top sat an old brown leather jacket. It was lined with soft tan material and had a collar lined with the same stuff. It seemed like it had belonged to someone around my age.

"Hey, do you know what this is?"

"Oh, I haven't seen that in ages," she said, almost to herself. Then she added, "Why don't you try it on?"

I obliged and slipped it on over my shoulders. I didn't notice that I had been cold until the warmth of the jacket reminded me. It was breathable and light but still comforting and cozy. It was well taken care of, but it still had the feeling of something that had been worn for years.

"Oh, it fits you perfectly. I figured that it would. Are the goggles in there too?"

Sure enough, there was a pair of goggles in the box next to what looked like a broken speaker. They seemed to be modeled after an old pair of aviator goggles with brown leather that matched the jacket. They were cracked, but still wearable.

"Yeah, they are."

She was silent for a while.

"Did you by any chance read the label on the box?"

I had completely forgotten.

"No, I'll do that now."

The look on her face worried me. It looked like the face someone might make if they had to remind someone of bad news they had just forgotten the minute before.
