-Sad Error404
-Mentions of DeathError 404's POV:
To be honest, I'm not even sure why I came here in the first place. I guess I just needed to spend time with people rather than being alone in the anti-void. I hate being alone. Most people don't realize it because I usually stay by myself in the void. Even though I hate it, I can't show any weaknesses or have people know what I'm planning. Anyways, I just decided to stay and talk with Bill during the reunion. I really didn't have anything better to do here. "404?" Bill's voice brought me out of my thoughts. "Yes?" I said still dazed.
"Were you listening to what I said?" he asked accusingly.
"No," I answered honestly.
Bill sighed and said with a smile, "I was asking if you wanted to annoy Nootmare."
I laughed at the nickname and replied, "Sure."
We went off to find Nightmare talking with Error. Great, Error is by him. I knew me and Error didn't have the best relationship, but I guess it could be worse. Error immediately noticed me as we walked up to Nightmare. Shyly, Error said, "Hey." to Bill and me.
"Hello," I replied back to him. I honestly don't try to be rude to him, he just gets on my nerves sometimes. He seemed to relax a little bit knowing I wasn't yelling at him. "Hi, Nootmare!" Bill told Nightmare teasingly.
Nightmare almost chocked on his apple he was eating. "Excuse me, WHAT?!" he exclaimed clearly annoyed.
"I said 'Hi, Nootmare!' Do you not like the nickname?"
"No, Bill. I. Do. Not. Like. It."
"Fine Mama NootNoot," Bill said smirking. Error and me where wheezing at this point. Bill had also started to laugh at Nightmare's annoyed face. "How am I even friends with you guys?" he asked after sighing.
Bill dramatically gasped and exclaimed, "We're friends?!"
Nightmare groaned and face palmed. "Yes, Bill. We are friends."
I chuckled at that and said, "C'mon, Bill, let's go watch a movie or something."
"Okay!" He exclaimed excited.
"See you later, Mama NootNoot," I said to Nightmare.
"You guys are ridiculous," he responded while shaking his head.
As we walked away, I could still hear Error laughing and teasing Nightmare with his new nickname. "That was fun!" Bill said smiling.
"Yeah, it was fun," I said.
For the reunion, Nightmare let people go wherever they wanted to in the castle. The only exception was you weren't allowed to go in anybody's room. Eventually, Bill and me made it to one of Nightmare's living rooms. Luckily for us, there wasn't anyone else here. "What should we watch?" Bill asked me.
"I don't really care what we watch, so you can pick something," I told him.
"Okay, let's watch My Little Pony," he said smirking.
I looked at him and said, "Absolutely not. Let's watch something scary."
"Awe, but My Little Pony is the best!" he said holding back a laugh.
"No, Bill. We are watching something scary."
"Fine," he said pretending to be upset.
"Oh, stop being pretending to be a baby," I said teasingly.
"Whatever, let's just watch a horror movie," he replied.
Eventually, we decided on watching Siren Head. Bill always pretended to be scared the entire movie while I would laugh at him. "Stop pretending to be scared," I would keep telling him in a teasing way.
"How do you know I'm pretending all the time?" he whined.
It takes one to know one. I thought bitterly.
"Because your very bad at pretending," I stated matter-of-factly.
Bill gasped dramatically and said, "I am the best at pretending!"
"Sure you are, Bill," I said chuckling. Although in my head I was thinking, Nobody can tell I'm pretending, Bill. Not Nightmare or even you can tell. I don't understand how people can just be so carefree. Eventually, I stopped thinking about my depressing thoughts and enjoyed the movie.
It was odd. Bill somehow had a way of making the people around him feel better. I wasn't sure if it was magic or his personality, but he always made me feel better whenever I was by him. The movie finished about an hour later. "What should we do now?" I asked Bill.
"Maybe we could go outside," he suggested.
"Sure, sounds good."
We headed outside of the castle. We were greeting by a starry sky and dead trees all around us. It was really calming out here. There was a faint sound from the castle where the reunion was taking place, but other than that it was quiet. I lied down on the grass and watched the night sky. I heard rustling next to me. I looked over and Bill lied beside me. He smiled at me and asked, "Isn't the sky so pretty?"
"I'm not sure I would say 'pretty', but it is really beautiful," I replied back to him.
He stuck out his tongue(s) at me. "That is the same thing," he said.
"Yeah, whatever,"
Bill layed his head on my shoulder and closed his eyes. "I'm going to take a nap, don't wake me up," he said sleepily.
"Okay, have a nice nap," I said half teasingly. I saw him smile at me with his eyes still closed.
"Yep, I will," he replied.
I watched the sky and looked at all the stars. I liked to count the stars in the sky. I'm not sure why, I just did. Suddenly, I realized something. Am I actually relaxing? It had been a while since I've been relaxed. I looked over to see Bill sleeping peacefully. I couldn't help but notice how adorable he looked. What the heck!? Why am I thinking like this!? I sighed. I don't know what your doing to me Bill, but I don't like it.
About a half hour later, Bill woke up. "Good morning, Sleeping Beauty," I said teasing him.
"Does that mean I look pretty?" Bill said smiling.
I stuck my tongue(s) out at him. "Nope. Ugly as ever."
Bill pretended to make a sad face. "You could've just left it a 'Nope' instead of insulting me."
"The reunion is almost over anyways. We should head inside," I told him.
"Okay," he replied getting up.
I said goodbye to Bill, Nightmare, and a few others. I teleported back to the anti-void. I decided to try and get some sleep.
A few hours later, I woke up after having a bad dream. "Stupid dream," I muttered to myself. No matter what I do I always have the same dream.
The dream replays the day Alpha died.
Alpha...
I felt tears starting to run down my cheeks, but I quickly wiped them away. I went to Outertale to clear my thoughts. This place is so peaceful and calming. Even the Bad Guys won't destroy the AU because they actually like it. I looked up into the sky and started counting the stars. I felt myself relaxing again. It was a nice feeling considering I don't usually feel relaxed. The stars reminded me of all of the humans and skeletons that had deceased. I liked to believe that each of those stars stood for someone who had passed. It was a way they could watch over you when they couldn't be physically with you. I smiled at the stars in the sky. "I love you, Alpha," I whispered. Right before I went back to the anti-void I could've sworn I heard a small voice say 'Love you, too.'
