College AU where Zach Dempsey is a freshman college students who are determined to be a fratboy whereas Alex Standall is also a freshman college students that want nothing to do with fraternity and rather focus on his studies. One night their fate...
Both Zach and Alex sprinted through the hallways like madmen, desperately trying to catch the runaway chihuahua. The dog was surprisingly swift, darting across the campus grounds with ease.
Zach was slightly ahead of Alex, but even he wasn't close enough to grab the dog. Realizing they wouldn't catch it at this pace, Alex spotted a rock on the ground. Without missing a beat, he picked it up and hurled it at the side of a nearby trash can. The can tipped over, creating a makeshift trap that the chihuahua ran straight into.
"Gotcha!" Zach yelled, quickly flipping the trash can upright to trap the dog.
A few onlookers clapped as Alex finally caught up, panting. He snatched his cap back from the ground, dusting it off. "This belongs to my brother. It's sentimental," Alex muttered, glaring at Zach.
Zach chuckled, holding the squirming dog in his arms. "Hey, at least we got the dog, right?"
Before Alex could respond, a voice boomed from behind them. "That was pretty impressive. I believe you're Zach, right?"
They turned to see a group of guys approaching, led by a tall, confident figure.
"I'm Bryce, president of Lambda Chi Alpha (ΛΧΑ)," he said, flashing a charismatic smile. "And I see you've caught the Alpha Delta's mascot. That earns you a ticket straight into our fraternity."
Bryce Walker, the leader of Lambda Chi Alpha (ΛΧΑ). Brown hair, blue eyes, and a presence that made it clear who was in charge. Dominance was simply part of his persona.

"Love what you did with the trash can trick," Bryce added, clearly impressed.
"Yeah, I used to be on the football team in high school," Zach said, trying to sound casual as he puffed out his chest.
Alex rolled his eyes. "I'm the one who did the trash can trick," he said, frustrated.
Bryce raised an eyebrow, looking at Alex skeptically. "And who might you be?"
"He's Dylan," Zach blurted out before Alex could respond.
"It's fucking Alex, you piece of shit," Alex snapped, clenching his jaw as he glared at Zach.
Zach squinted at him, monologuing a 'I don't think so, I would've remember'
Bryce smirked, clearly amused by the tension. "If you wanna be in Lambda, just say so," he said, his tone dripping with condescension.
"No! I don't wanna be in your stupid frat," Alex shot back, his voice sharp. "Spending the day sucking up to seniors sounds like complete bullshit."
One of the guys behind Bryce stepped forward, his face red with anger. "Watch your mouth!"
"Calm down, Monty," Bryce said, holding him back with a hand on his chest.
Zach, sensing the tension, finally spoke up. "Alex, I think you should leave," he said, his tone firm but not unkind.
Alex glared at them, his jaw tight, before turning on his heel and walking away.
As Alex disappeared into the distance, Bryce turned to Zach, his expression serious. "Zach, you're the same year as him, so make sure you're better than him in every way. Lambda is only for the best of the best," he said, patting Zach's shoulder before leading the group toward the campus.
"Y-yeah, of course," Zach nodded, trying to sound confident as he glanced back at Alex one last time. But before he could dwell on it, he was swept up in the sea of people, the excitement of his new fraternity life drowning out everything else.
