Oh god, I don't want to be here. Let me out of here. Let me go, please. I just wanna go home...!
I really wasn't prepared to see my killer face to face, in retrospect. But I'm here now, and I guess that there's nothing I can do now. I just have to face the music.
Vincent laughs darkly, relaxing in the chair in the office. My eyes dart around, looking for Molly, and they find her slumped against the wall. She doesn't look that hurt; I think she's just knocked out. Bonnie and Chica have yet to come out of the vents, and I take a step back to signal them to stay inside.
"Vincent," I say, sounding a lot less brave than I would have liked to.
"Took you long enough to get here," he says. "I see you found the present I left for you." He waves the tablet that has all the security camera video feeds on it. The screen is showing the party room where I found Mike. I can see blood on the floor.
"That's anything but," I spit at him.
"Fine, then how about her?" he says, gesturing to Molly.
"Fuck you," I say. He just laughs again.
"I don't think you'd want to say that to me," he says.
"Wh-why not?" I ask. Vincent doesn't respond, but instead... dies? No, he's not dead, I think. His eyes are rolled back into his head. What?
"Foxy...?" Molly says. She's awake now.
"Molly, are you okay?" I ask, going over to her.
"Yeah, I'm fine," she says, rubbing her eyes. "What about you, are you okay?"
"Mmhmm," I say, nodding.
"That's a shame," she says, opening her eyes. They're both black. I step back.
"F-Faith?" I ask.
"Wrong," she sings. "It's me."
"Vincent?!" I yell.
"Ten points to Gryffindor!" he says, laughing again. "You know, you're really quite stupid."
"For what?"
"For thinking you can save them." He looks over at the vents. What, how did he know they were in there? "I mean, that's just the thing. You can't."
A sudden wave of sadness and anger rushes over me. "Leave Molly and come fight me face to face, you coward!" I yell.
"I don't think you want that," he says.
"Bullshit. I can take whatever you throw at me." He pauses, thinking about it.
"Fine. Have it your way," he says.
Molly's eyes return to normal, and she collapses, unconsious once again. Vincent wakes up, and before I realize anything, he's rushing me. I dodge in time, but he comes around and pushes me over.
"Is that your worst?" I say, taunting him. He doesn't answer me, just kicks me while I'm down. Literally. This is when Molly wakes up again, this time for real.
"Vincent, cut it out!" she cries. He stops and turns around.
"I thought I outed you," he says.
"But I'm still here, so you're gonna have to try a l-l-lot harder than that." Oh no. She's getting too cocky now. Lucky for us, he doesn't kill her right then and there.
"You know what?" he says to us. "I'm gonna let that slide. I actually understand you, Molly. I understand the truth." He looks at me when he says 'truth.' "Max, is there something you'd like to tell Molly?"
